Well, they are all MSG specials. Why? To cover up the lack of taste and freshness in their food. But I get ahead of myself. It was a cold evening and I decided, on my trip through, to stop and order some take out. I did this through their website which seemed easy enough but was really devoid of any good descriptions of the food. I chose some shrimp shumai, miso soup, and sashimi. The website informed me that my order would be ready in 30 minutes. At the appropriate time I left and arrived a few minutes early. The restaurant was approximately 25% full and didnât change much the 45 minutes I ended up waiting there. I should have been suspicious when I saw several other people waiting for take out as well. The decor was okay but sincerely lackluster. The music was an annoyance and not convenient to any conversation whatsoever. The sushi chefs looked bored and uninspired as they went through preparing food. Apologies were given for my prolonged wait and I exited with a consolation prize of tasteless crab meat nachos and a small bland bottle of sake. I drove back to my hotel hoping for a taste treat but instead found the food salty, unappealing, and essentially tasteless except for the MSG that plagued me through the night and into the next day. I am not getting the restaurant scene in Sioux Falls and Iâm starting to think that I could roast a piece of wood and cover it with salt and it would be appetizing to a majority of people. I will keep trying, though. Maybe one day I will find the right place with decorum and well-prepared food.

I love coming here for business lunches because it's a large place, has a lovely atmosphere, and is quiet enough to have an actual conversation! Dinner with the family here is nice because they can usually put some space between your rowdy family and the other patrons. Like others have said, I think that this restaurant does much of its business with carryout orders, which always go smoothly too. The food always hits the spot and the service is very friendly. My recommendation for Chinese food in Sioux Falls is always Szechwan! The west side location is nice too, though I'm not as familiar.

I stopped here as it was close to a nearby meeting. The outside is non descriptive strip mall but the inside is a much better experience. Many of these places lack good design and this has better seating and ambiance. The service was good and very helpful for learning about the food. I had pho and it was good although the meat lacked flavor. The spring rolls were outstanding. Better than most Asian places but could be better.

This facility has so many choices, we don't know where to start. Everything I tried was very tasty. Seems like we have to go back several times to get to try more of the offerings. We aren't in town that often.

The restaurant was packed for lunch but we didn't wait longer than 5 or 10 minutes. The service was fast and great. There was a lot of variety to choose from between meats, noodles, veggies & sauces. It was a lot of fun to watch them cook it up in front of us. One plate was more than filling enough, but you were free to go up for another plate if desired.

Our first venture to Pho Quynh and our first try at Vietnamese food, it was a pleasant surprise. The building itself and the interior are certainly nothing special and it is smallish inside, BUT the reason we were there - the food - more than made up for any shortfalls in aesthetics. Collective we had Vietnamese style wonton dumpling soup (9 on the menu), rice paper wrapped Spring Rolls (2), Lemon grass chicken with peppers and rice (47) which is nicely spicy, and Ginger Chicken and Rice (48). All were deemed outstanding. The service is functional, nothing over the top. Bottom line, we were pleased we came and we shall return.

We had great service during our most recent visit. The waitress had our drinks refilled before we could ask. She was friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember her name to give her the credit! We've eaten here numerous times when in town visiting friends or family. It's always a fun, delicious experience! I think it's impossible to come up with a bad combination of ingredients. The only downside to this kind of restaurant is everyone spends half the time away from the table so you lose an important aspect of the family dining experience. If you know that ahead of time, you should have your expectations met when dining here.

There are other sushi places in Sioux Falls, and then there is Sushi Masa, which I'm pretty sure is the only sushi place in Sioux Falls with a Japanese chef. (I could be wrong about that.) Anyway, it's super fresh and super delicious. I miss their lunch menu so much!

My wife and I ate dinner here, but had planned for another restaurant. Fortunately the other location did not open on time and we left.We started by sharing an appetizer of vegetable samosas with tamarind (sweet and sour) and mint sauces. The samosas were hot and tasty with a crisp pastry shell. I am not a sweet and sour fan, but the tamarind sauce accentuated very positively the taste. For entrees we had chicken Tikaa masala and chicken biryani. The spice level is adjustable, we selected 5 out of 10. I enjoyed this level, but my wifeâs was too hot. They took it back into the kitchen and cooled it off for her. Both dishes were very good with large portions. The flavors were blended but some distinctive tastes were there. Our waiter was personable and helped us to decide as well as providing good service.

The restaurant is inconspicuously located in a strip mall, but don't allow its ordinary exterior to color your expectations. The menu is fantastic and has something for everybody. On the basis of my experience I can forthrightly say that it is the best Asian restaurant in all of Minnehaha County.Read on if you wish me to be slightly more specific. I visited the restaurant at the end of a long road-trip, on the day before arriving home in Fargo, North Dakota. It is perhaps not an exaggeration to state that I was somewhat starved for decent food (although see my other reviews: there are gems waiting to be unearthed all along the road between Denver and Fargo). I was traveling with Mrs. Rat, the Ratling, and the Ratniece, and while we all enjoy food of all kinds, we have differing levels of spice-tolerance. Some of us like it plain and some of us like it not so plain. As it turns out, and as noted above, this restaurant has something for everybody: spicy preparations, variety of ingredients, shovelfuls of plain rice available upon request (raise your hand), and plenty of sauces and jellies as needed. I can cheerfully say that upon completing our meal we left without failing to not feel not un-disappointed in the quality!I can personally recommend a dish, whose name (alas) I have forgotten, consisting of two turmeric-infused crepes, containing a mixture of ground chicken and various spices. I had never tried this before (it was something between a burrito and a South Indian dosa) but I eagerly await the opportunity of trying it again.
