We went to Mimi's for lunch last Friday. They were having some good lunch specials-$7.00. My husband ordered the teriyaki chicken and I ordered the teriyaki shrimp. They both came with fried rice. We had salads first with the ginger dressing. All of our food was very good and plentiful. It wasn't super crowded, maybe about 7 tables, but there was only one waitress for everyone. She did a great job considering, and didn't seem to get flustered at all. She did need some help though. There are two sides to the restaurant. One side had your regular big grills with seats around for you to watch the chef. The other side has two more grills and then a few regular tables. We sat at a regular table. It seemed a little quicker. We will definitely visit again.

We ordered two different types of fried rice; one with shrimp and the other with pork. There was a scant amount of shrimp and lots of uncooked onions, freezer burned peas and the rice wasn't fried. We watched them take it out of a container and place it the wok for a moment and then into the container. The pork fried rice had absolutely no pork in it. It had an unusually large amount of onion, freezer burned peas and no flavor. I would recommend that you get Chinese food elsewhere. See the attached photos. Look at the obscene amount of onion on the plate. Unreal.

I know it's still fast food but it's not burgers. The chicken habachi was very tasty and served quickly. Will return here again.

Ate here last evening. It was packed, seemed promising. That hope ended when we were seated in an overflow area that smelled musty like dirty carpet, Later I witnessed what part of the problem was- the diners. We watched as a group seated nearby sat there as a baby at their table dumped their drink on the floor, without saying a word to anyone or even trying to clean up the mess. Our table wasn't much better; it was so sticky I had to get a napkin to put under my plate. Waitress was working hard, just no where near us. Food was so so. Hibachi was crowded and we were so hungry we opted to eat the buffet. Huge selection but food was just so so. Not warm enough, not very fresh. Sushi was not fresh either. If you must go, your best best is probably the hibachi. Otherwise, try somewhere else.

I've ordered for delivery twice and the food has been great and the delivery quick and hot! They have really good fried rice and the chefs specials and lunch menus are a great deal for the amount of food you get.

I came with family and kids 11-17. We all thought the food was excellent. They were accommodating about customizing the dishes. Service was prompt and pleasant. The prices were good. My granddaughter had pad Thai. I had mango shrimp curry. Both were delicious When you are done, cross the street and get ice cream.

This was our second time to order take out from Shang Hai Tokyo. Both times were quite good. Ordered several different dishes and all were nice. Had Sesame Chicken, Orange Beef, Twice sautéed Pork, and Steamed Chicken and mixed veggies. Anything that should be crisp was still crisp and veggies weren't soggy. Plus there was no skimping on portions, so plenty of leftovers. The only slight complaint that we have is that the "spicy" dishes didn't have much heat to them at all, but we'll ask for them to be extra spicy next time and see how that goes.
