My Mother and I had an appointment 7/13/16 in Searcy and I did a search for best Chinese and Mexican. This restaurant was top rated for Chinese and we'll do Mexican next trip. The restaurant is small, but very clean. You order and pay at the counter and your food is brought to your table. I love spicy, my Mother does not. We both ordered Hot and Sour soup, which was wonderful. Mom ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan, which she really enjoyed. However, next visit she'll order a dish with more broccoli and darker sauce. I got the Kung Pao Chicken because I love spicy - spicy is what I got!! Usually restaurants don't add enough spice, but they did. The food was excellent but I'll know next time to order just a little less pepper. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere and we'll be back. Very reasonably priced!

Searcy has a severe lack of homegrown restaurants, but if this is the best we can get, it'll do just fine. In typical fashion of a stir fry joint, you all your ingredients into a bowl and have them prepare it. A wide variety of accompanying sauces provide a myriad of flavors. I myself like it spicy, so I do a combination of Mongolian, Spicy Garlic, and Red Pepper Oil...it has a kick, but does not disappoint.

I am actually Not a Sushi fan, but I Do like Chinese food, so I was pleasantly surprised when I first had lunch at this restaurant---Very Good food, modest price, excellent value. Service was slightly slow, but not enough to complain about. Sushi Cafe is a very good lunch option in Searcy.

Went to New China because of ease getting seated and served. The food was average but many items were minimal in the pans due to the lateness of the evening. The food was okay but had been in the pans a long time. The best thing is that you can eat as much as you want. The bad thing is that you can eat as much as you want! The servers are courteous and friendly. They kept my glass filled and pulled dirty plates away as needed. The kept the dining room clean.

Loved it! You have to try the veggie or veggie plus pork lumpia (like spring rolls). The sweet sauce with them is very good. The dumplings- yum! And the slightly spicy dipping sauce was amazing. I wanted to put it on everything. The banana egg rolls for dessert with powered sugar- yum! I could have just had these items and been happy. We tried the beef steak which had an excellent brown gravy sauce. The house pancit bihon was highly liked. The veggie fried rice was good. Actually had great flavor without needing soy but I added a little dumpling sauce cause I was addicted at this point. You can choose spice level from zero to five. Coke products. Clean place, like the spacing of tables. Not fancy. Good service. Food very fresh! Great for family. Did see a highchair in use. Reasonably priced with good portions. Next we want to try the meal soups.

Coming from the Atlanta area, I'm okay lowering my expectations of dining. However, this was totally not worth it. First, big city sushi prices for the worst sushi I've ever had. I don't mind paying for good sushi, but this was far from it. Out of 10 pieces nigiri 3 of them still had skin on one end. The red snapper was questionable - I'm wondering what fish I really ate. The fishiest snapper I've ever tasted. We also had chicken fried rice and it was subpar, pretty difficult to mess up fried rice. Even after telling my waitress about the skin still on the sushi, she apologized said she told them and they did nothing to replace it or adjust the bill. She was friendly, that's the best and only good thing about our meal. To me, this place is fast food level disguised as a restaurant. My only hesitancy in posting this review tonight is knowing if I waited until tomorrow I could at least report whether I got sick or not.
