Eliza's Thai Street Cafe is a wonderful seasonal pop up street cafe based at DP's BAR Aldeburgh UK. We serve authentic freshly prepared thai dishes. Fresh fish from The fishermen on aldeburgh beach cooked thai style. Started with my wonderful Thai friend
Its been a few years since we visited this place and what luck the food is delicious. They will make it as authentic as your taste budsrequire. We ate in the bar but I understand there is a more formal restaurant space upstairs should you require it. Excellent.Thank you so much for taking the time to review our street food cafe. So glad you enjoyed our authentic food xThanksEliza and the Gang

Nestled within the Deben Valley, 12 miles from the Suffolk Coast, The White Horse is situated in the picturesque village of Easton Our beautiful 17th century, dog friendly Inn, delivering quality food, fantastic service and stylish interiors.
Out for a light lunch at the White Horse and very pleasant it was too.Cameron was very helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable on both the ales and the food. He managed to rustle up something that was not actually on the menu and did some changes to my meal to make it the way I like it.This pub has come a long way in a shirt time under the recent change of management. Thanks Cameron et-al, excellent service and good banter.

Sea Spice is a unique amalgamation of exotic Indian cooking within the quintessentially British coastal setting of Aldeburgh. Taking lead from the ancient Spice Route and Aldeburgh's historic role as a valued Tudor port, this new gourmet restaurant unites
Having read about Sea Spice and being in the area we called in and thought it looked OK so decided to eat. The menu claims that the food is traditional rather than what your average Indian restaraunt serves up across the UK. The menu read well, Mrs IT ordered Salmon Tikka I ordered a Chicken Biryani, both dishes were a huge disappointment. The salmon was just three chunks sitting sadly on a dish and plain rice in a small bowl, it did not bode well. My biryani saw a bowl piled high with rice, turned out to be saffron, I dislike what I term scented food, with five chunks of chicken underneath. Two mouthfuls was enough, dry, uninteresting, same with my wife's she only got through hers due to a small pot of yoghurt. I advised the waiter I simply could not eat my meal, to be fair he took it off the bill. I was advised that the food was prepared as they do in Northern India, sadly I do not feel this is suited to the UK taste buds. Asian food should be full of flavour, moist with spices and sauces, just look at the food programmes on TV. Mrs IT and myself had high hopes we left feeling let down, and hungry.

Under New Management - since Nov 2017. Restaurant and Pub, for the finest Chinese and Thai cuisine. 5 star Holder of Food Hygiene Certificates All dishes are cooked in 100% vegetable oil All our dishes are prepared and freshly cooked to order. The elegant
Very good value menu and a warm welcome from the staff. The service was a bit clunky on the night we went. Pleasant and apologetic but a delay in serving and one person's meal served twenty minutes after the other, doesn't make for the most relaxed evening, but sometimes these things just happen. Smartly presented restaurant in the former lounge bar part of the pub. Vegetable chow mein, spring rolls and seaweed all very good. Squid was a bit oily and lacked chilli IMHO, bit others may like it that way.

We had a party of 9, including 3 kids. They had set up the table for us and everyone seemed satisfied, except one who ordered a coconut based dish which she said tasted different to the one at home. The service was good and quite fast, although the waiter seemed quite visibly disappointed when we asked for water and no drinks.

We have eaten there a handful of times in the past (and got take away a few times as well), but the food is really average, not a huge amount of flavour and quite oily. It is really your average local Indian restaurant, not bad, not great. Better Indian restaurants nearby. Service is good though, they are very friendly and welcoming.
