Called in mid week and was fairly quiet. The service and the food was great, surprisingly filling as well. Large selection to choose from, was really spoilt for choice. Good draft beer to round off an enjoyable evening.Easy to get to and easy parking. Really good value.

Had south Indian Thali. Rice was uncooked, potato fry was bland, Sambar with no vegetable in it, Rasam is like tamarind water. Probably only thing that is average is Vatta Kolambu. Neatness is also below average, which is a big concern.

Michelin recommended restaurant 2013
Seiya is a tiny restaurant with lots of atmosphere, quite reminiscent of neighborhood restaurants in Japan. Dark wood and stone decor, and the tallest front door anywhere. There's a long counter in the back with the sushi chefs, and several tables closer to the front. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The menu is mostly sushi, but there is a small selection of izakaya-type grilled veggies and meats, tempura, and salads. We had the grilled asparagus, chicken, and filet mignon, the vegetable tempura, and a tofu dish. It was all very fresh, nicely prepared, and served with delicious sauces. Try the sesame ice cream for a very different taste. A bit pricey, but extremely well done.

I've had better Thai food. I was craving Pad Kee Mou for a few days so took the opportunity to go here. So I ordered me some veggie PKM and the tofu tod (fried tofu with peanut sauce). Though the noodles were spicy I've had better. The fried tofu was also disappointing - the peanut sauce was like peanut butter with oil! Won't go here again.

I've eaten at Shiki Bistro four times for lunch and have always had a delicious, fresh, filling meal at a reasonable price. Today I ordered the one of the lunch specials, the chirashi bowl for $12. It was several pieces of assorted sashimi over sushi rice and a sweet-chili sauce. Loved it. If you buy the Shiki Bistro cash card at Costco Redwood City, you can get $100 worth of meals for $80. If you are a regular, this is worth doing, as you save 20% off your meals; it covers the tip!

Went again after a long time and they did not disappoint. We had Cashew Vegetables, Pineapple Fried Rice and another Tamarind Vegetable thing. all three were good. the Tamarind thing was not sour as we had feared and actually had a unique taste. I certainly recommend cashew vegetables, not only because it was very tasty, but it's also rare to get it.

Had lunch with the work crew so no one wanted to go out for dinner, thus I am on my own. Looked at the reviews and figured I'd give this place a try. Solid Chinese food, no doubt about it. Good hot and sour soup and the Mongolian beef was very good. Nothing super gourmet tewndy but just solid standard Chinese, not monkeyed around with. Where I live, the Chinese food is all Americanized, heavily breaded and generally horrible, so this is a very welcome change for me.

RHCP never fails to please the Indian palate. Good food in a casual ambience. Always full on weekends so reservation is a must. The new dishes they have introduced are quite good. Five spice chicken and firecracker chicken were both good. Vegetable medallions never disappoint. The corn pepper salt is delicious. Service is prompt and courteous.

Saffron Indian Bistro is family-owned restaurant situated in the sophisticated dining destination of San Carlos. We've been serving North Indian Cuisine for over ten years and counting. Our commitment is simple: we serve high-quality, fresh, and authentic
Enjoyed a splendid dinner on our second visit in six months to this very special San Carlos Indian top class restaurant with its attentive and professional wait staff and spotless interior. We enjoyed minty lemonades and ordered onion bhaji and paani poor semolina puffs. For the main delights we choose lamb seekh kebab, tandoori marinated grilled shrimp, chicken tikka kabob and butternut squash coconut curry. We all shared our dishes which gave us the opportunity to taste four different entrees which is always a great delight, especially serving a small lamb kebab portion and adding the a dash of sauce from the chicken dish allowed for some creative cross fusion dishes - but donât tell the chef! A very satisfying experience and one I would go back to again and again!

The food was amazing. I had the Pumpkin Pork Stew here. My friends had Rangoon Noodle and Tea Leaf Salad. All the dishes were yum! Service was a little slow, probably because it was crowded at the time.Thank you for loving our cuisine. The Pumpkin Pork Stew is one of our favorite house specialties too, we're glad you enjoyed it. We apologize for the slow service though and have noted that to go over with our team. Otherwise, thank you for sharing with us!
