Visited this place last night to get a takeaway, although you can eat in if you want. Food was ready when we got there, with free prawn crackers chucked in for good measure. Ordered a beef curry, beef chow mein, sesame prawn toast, egg fried rice, dry spare ribs and chicken satay on skewers. All absolutely superb....in fact the best Chinese weâve had for a long time! Would highly recommend it for take away. Havenât eaten in the restaurant so canât comment but try the Oriental Cottage take out if youâre in the area. Enjoy!

Was on a business trip and popped in here for some food. It was an all you can eat which can be very hit and miss. What a hit - service was excellent a young girl explained everything as I ordering and the food after I had ordered. Food was great had a mixed starters all hot and freshly cooked food. Lemon chicken was nice and sharp crispy beef was also very good. Couldn't eat any more too full for dessert. not bad for under £20 including drinks.

We ordered a takeaway from Jade Garden on a Saturday night in January. It was so difficult to place our order! Spoke to 3 different people before they could understand what we wanted! First person warned us it would be an hour but by the time we finally placed our order with the third person we were told collect in 40 mins. Picked it up no problems. So I don't usually order Chinese as I never like the sauces but picked carefully & it was great. Really enjoyed it. We ordered 3 main dishes - spicy pork, chicken curry & chicken with cashew & ginger. Plus 1 rice, prawn crackers, salt & pepper ribs & veggie spring rolls. The spring rolls were overcooked slightly & a little cold but that was the only real food complaint. I found a short hair in my chicken curry unfortunately which did put me off some. Other than that, it was actually a really good meal & we'd happily order from Jade Garden again.

We use Manzil regularly and although we have to pay for delivery being outside the free area, it is well worth it. Food is always hot, portions are very generous and the flavours great. We always choose Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and Tarka Dal - superb, really (spicy) hot with loads of flavour. Service is friendly and always on time. Anything we don't finish freezes beautifully.

Hopefully they were having an off night. Weâve used Nemonthron many times, although not for a few years now, but this visit was truly poor.On a positive note, the poppadums were good, and the bread and other sundries were acceptable, but they managed a greasy biriani with dry meat, and an over cooked mixed grill, and the âdroughtâ lager was distinctly odd.Weâre so disappointed as we have had positive experiences in the past and was so far away from the mark.

Went there Saturday night from the start we were rushed. It was as if the waiter had to be somewhere. As my friend was looking at the menu he was asked for his starter choice as he was still looking hte waiter then got cross and asked in as cross manner for his order. It was the same all through the meal. We were not offerred a desert or coffee. We did speak to the owner who was to say the least shocked and did say he would address it of which I think he will. However there are plenty of Indian resturants to go to so will give this a miss. We travelled an hour to get there to be really disapointed

This place is amazing, the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. We went for the first time a few weeks ago for lunch and have returned since for the evening meals. I can see this place becoming a very regular haunt for me. I recommend asking for things slightly spicy. Really full of flavour.

Visited last weekend for a lunchtime meal with the family. From the outside the restaurant doesn't fill you with a lot of optimism, but the restaurant opens up into a far larger area behind, plus there's also a downstairs restaurant but this wasn't open at the time. As it was lunchtime the place was quiet, in fact we were the only ones there. The service and food was excellent and the staff very friendly without being overly so. Reasonably priced at approx. £80 for 4 of us including wine. Will definitely return and would highly recommend

A Traditional Village Pub, Serving Authentic Thai Food. A Fine Selection of Real Ales, Craft Beers, Thai Beers and Great Wines. Beer Garden. Inglenook Fire Place.
Went to Crown & Thistle last night just for a drink although often eat there as food is always fab and service excellent! Lovely atmosphere and as it was such a warm evening took advantage of the secluded rear garden. Good village atmosphere and always good to catch up with friends. Seems to attract many people from surrounding villages also which is always good to see. Look forward to my next visit.

Why people complain about how long the food takes to arrive, baffles me. Wouldnât these people rather their food was cooked fresh rather than just reheated microwave crap. Sorry to those people who want their food fast, I think you will find that the local McDonalds is not that very far away at Duxford services may serve you better. If you want superb freshly cooked and are prepared to wait for Thai food, then go and eat at Ananta Thai Food Pub. If you want to eat fast food, then there are plenty of âfast foodâ joints about Dear Simon,Thank you very much for your review. Sometimes I am tempted to reply some reviews with your exact words but I cannot do it because it is a personal opinion. We work very hard in our restaurant and our goal is to make ALL customers happy with the food and service. We get very upset when someone didn't enjoy the experience, even it is only a small percentage of customers it does affect us a lot. We would like to please 100% of our customers but it is very difficult because all customers have different expectations and we also are not perfect, we make mistakes from time to time although we try to learn from our them to improve.I hope to see you around soon,Best wishesSergio
