Kontiki is a trendy restaurant in Wellington, near West Palm Beach. It has a bar and serves sushi, seafood, and a wide range of international and American dishes. Recommended, but you may want to check the menu and prices online before you go.The food was good, and my Grilled Whole Squid was excellent. My wife had the Sea Bass Tataki, which was also very good. I had a bite of my friends Portabella Napoleon and it was very good, as was the few pieces of fatty tuna sushi I tasted from my nephewâs order. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, and in one case spectacular. The décor was flashy, but I particularly enjoyed being seated near the very large saltwater tank with live coral and tropical fish. The clientele was well heeled and young, but despite the music and televisions it was not too loud. The service was excellent, particularly since there were six adults (ages 30 - 67) and a five-year old. The prices were on the high end of what I would expect in Washington, but this was Wellington during polo season and my generous brother insisted on paying. So, who am I to complain?
It is a small restaurant. I was surprised. Good food. We ordered the. Sashmi Deluxe plus a JB roll. We changed the California roll for the Philadelphia roll and added a spicy tuna roll. They were accommodating, fast and very good.
China King in the Publix Shopping Center is, by and large, really a good Chinese take-out. Any of their soft dishes (where meats are not fried) are excellent. IF you like hot food, order it extra spicy, otherwise you will be disappointed. I do not recommend ordering anything fried (Sweet and Sour, etc) for my experience is touch and go...sometimes the mead is fried to point of being inedible. But dishes like "Chicken and Vegetable, Schuan Chicken/Pork/Beef, Chow Mein, etc. are really very good. Give them about 15 minutes notice for ordering. Their delivery is good, but allow 35-45 minutes. Overall, I rate this a good Chinese Take-Out

This is my favorite Thai restaurant hands down! It might actually be my favorite restaurant in all of Palm Beach County! This is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. The food is cooked fresh as ordered. The family running this place is amazing! I am a native Wellington girl and I have been coming here for over 10 years! It's not the swankiest place/location in town but it is decorated in a calm and inviting way. The food is delicious! I have never ordered anything that I wasn't completely pleased with! The woman knows my son always orders chicken fried rice and gets it started for him right away. I think the fried rice is fantastic! But that's certainly not the only dish that will leave you begging for more! "Mr. T" (as we call him) is the sushi master! He will make anything to your liking... His son (I think his name is Bert) will often take our order. He is kind and helpful. They take pride in what they do; and they like to get to know their customers and make them feel like they are home. I can't imagine how anyone could rate this place anything less than 5 stars... This place is a hidden gem that I wish I could keep all to myself! In fact, I often joke with my husband that if we ever win the lottery we will beg these wonderful people to become our seriously compensated full-time live in cooks! These hard working people deserve recognition for strong and steady- not fast- perfection on every single plate! If you are in a hurry, order ahead for take-out and try to take a deep breath and enjoy life a little more...
Fantastic first experience dining here. Sushi was phenomenal, fresh, and high quality... in fact, some of the best sushi I've ever had and I'm an sushi aficionado. Sexy girl roll was superb as was everything else we ordered. Tempura Oreos were the perfect ending to a great meal. Our server Will and Manager Emily were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Definitely will return and recommend to others.

This is one of the best Japanese places that I have come across. You could miss it from the street but it is worth turning into the plaza for. Small, quaint restaurant that brings everything that you expect from a japanese restaurant. They even offer japanese drinks and treats. Alcoholic beverages are also available. The pot stickers are amazing and the Pho Bowls have never disappointed. My husband and I love to come to this restaurant and service is always great.

Looking to have sushi for lunch with a business associate yesterday, my usual spot was closed for vacation, another resturant I knew of nearby had closed down, so finally the third resturant turned out to be the charm. The first thing we noticed was the upscale decor, second was the high end plateware and most importantly the food. We started with an octopus appetizer which was simply prepare and very fresh. We each ordered one of a number of sushi lunch combinations which came with miso soup and salad with your choice of ginger, miso or peanut dressing. I won't usually order miso soup if there's another soup available, well I had the miso soup and it was by far the best miso soup I have ever eaten. Then there was the selected fish, served artfully and all delicious. We ordered from the lunch menu and left full as the servings were substantial. The rest of the menus had an extensive selection which included organic selections, if that's important to you. One word, AWESOME. Can't wait to take the whole family for dinner. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but well worth it. Don't miss this place.

We decided on Asian carryout and choose Peppermint Thai because it was close and the reviews were good. Portions were large for the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Chicken fried rice. Both were very good with the Chicken Fried Rice being exceptional. We ordered Spring Rolls which were so so. The order was ready when we arrived and the staff was very pleasant. We look forward to trying different dishes.

This is a small restaurant in a strip mall in some need of updating. The restaurant interior reveals some of that same need (e.g., needs new ceilings). But, once you taste the food, who really cares? I visited for lunch on my own recently based upon the TripAdvisor reviews, and was glad I did. I wanted to go back the next day for the same lunch but I resisted. I love Thai food and really had not found anything as authentic in this area. I had the Shrimp Panang Curry dish. It was hot and perfectly prepared, from the shrimp (cooked just right) to the vegetables (the exact right vegetable choices to pair with the sauce and also cooked to the perfect crispness) to the rice to the curry sauce (that sauce if why I want to go back already). Good job Amy on such expertly prepared food!
