Fancied a curry last night so called in at my local Indian - Noorjahan - a well-established take-away that I have used occasionally, but as it now also includes a small restaurant area (seating up to about 16) I thought I would eat in rather than take out. Decor, ambience and service were good, and prices very reasonable. I enjoyed a luscious Lamb Malaya (£5.90) accompanied by Garlic Fried Rice (£2.40). My only disappointment was that on requesting the dessert menu I was told "Sorry Sir - we don't do anything like that".

Takeout not the same as dining in Ordered at six arrived at 7.30 same thing has happened twice before but what you receive is no different to most pre 60min Indian restaurants - food was like warm guy delivered was hoping to keep the £5 change after no apology or waiting 1.5 hrs from 6pm ! No more chances for us and tbh will look to put out dining out experience elsewhere too - sitting on last results and from experience comfort kills most businesses eventually . Thank you for your review and we would like to apologize for your experience. This will be brought up to the Owner's attention. Also, please do not let things like this to spoil the chance to really enjoy a meal out. we hope to see you again.

Ryan's Indian Cuisine, a fine dining Indian restaurant and the best Indian restaurant In Loughborough. We are located in the centre of Loughborough, a Modern designed Indian Restaurant.
My husbandâs daughter and her family were visiting from the States in June. Brought them to this restaurant as the food is alwa1ys spectacular. Son-in-law has travelled all over the world and eaten Indian food many, many times. After his meal he said that this was the best indian he had ever eaten. What praise. The atmosphere is very cheerful. The decor is really clean and modern. The members of staff canât do enough for you and want only to make your visit memorable, they certainly do that. When, sadly, the time comes to leave you are made to feel like dear friends.Had a takeaway delivered to us recently. Perfect! Hot and so delicious. As good as in the restaurant. When can I go next please?

So the food was great and the service was fast. The only concern is the gentleman taking the takeaway orders read the card number out, security code.. everything out loud to repeat to the customer on the phone so our table could have all done some free online shopping.

We have 2 branches in Leicester one on Melton Road and the other on St Saviours Road. The shops provide Indian authentic farsan, sweets, thalis and savouries. We also have an online shop, where you can have your items delivered home. Catering is another o
Aarti sweet centre catered for our reception party for 500 people, and for 800 guests on the wedding day. We were extremely happy with the outstanding food and service provided on both event day. They were so helpful with suggestions and gave us their honest opinions on what would work well with each other. On the event days the food was fresh and exactly as we requested it to be. Our guests were seen to and taken care of professionally and promptly and we received so many compliments about the food. Will definitely recommend Aarti sweet centre again

Took a dozen staff there for a meal after a few beers; can't fault anything:Beer was cold, Food was first rate.Service was excellent.Room was clean.Reasonably priced. The only downside is an old bug bear of mine and that is for a table of our size we were sat refrectory style rather than tables being squared off so that we caoukd all talk to each other rather than being 3 metres away from the someone at the end of the table.

A multi cuisine restaurant serving Indian, Chinese and fusion food.
Our first visit to Shanaya, but we are discerning diners in Bangladeshi, Nepalese and Indian restaurants. Warmly welcomed, the four of us had very varied dishes and the food was superb. The restaurant was busy all evening, the prices are fair and it is on our list to return.

Fine Dining Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in Syston Leicester.
Booked the Gurkha Embassy after reading the glowing reviews. Have to question whether we actually went to the same place? On arrival we were shown to a tiny table hidden behind a pillar. The place wasnât packed so we asked for a different table and were shown to one round the side which only had a table cloth on but worse was that the floor was covered in discarded food - rice and stuff covered the floor under the chairs and table to the extent that we had to sit with our feet out to the side of the table so as not to ruin shoes. Eventually we were brought some cutlery and given menus. Starters and a drink were ordered and they arrived about 30 mins later and were ok-ish but had very heavy thick pastry. The Gurkha isnât a romantic eatery at all - bright lighting and really loud music especially when celebrating birthdays. We then sat waiting for well over an hour - no staff around. Eventually a member of staff came to our side of the restaurant to ask if we wanted more drinks - and we queried how much longer. After about 10 more minutes the main courses arrived. Husbands salmon tikka was acceptable but two of the pieces were just the tail portion so had very little actual salmon. My vegetable tikka was awful - very sweet and creamy - more like a korma but worst of all was that it was packed full of paneer which wasnât mentioned in the menu. When I queried this I was told thatâs how they make it. As a vegetarian itâs not something I eat at all hence ordering a vegetarian dish. At that point weâd had enough and asked for the bill. Waiter did take a % off for my main course which I appreciated. All in all a very disappointing experience. Not a place Iâd recommend at all - there is really no excuse for sitting guests in dirty surroundings and then failing to offer any kind of decent customer service or serve good food. The person who posted this review did not dine with us and had posted a wholly false allegations coz we couldn't found evidence. This review is in dispute with Trip AdvisorSujanProprietor

I had booked by phone and must have not said my name very clearly so there was a little doubt as to whether our party was booked in. It was sorted and free poppadoms and pickles arrived to apologise for the delay without any complaint from us - a nice gesture. The menu is extensive, the food well presented and delicious, but in generous portions and as it's BYO alcohol the price is reasonable. Together with friendly efficient service what's not to like. The fact you need to book says I am not alone in loving having a great local restaurant.
