Guys give this place a go, Brings some variety to Rocky but they only stay open if we support them. Good service, bloody good food. Prices are reasonable. I had been keeping an eye on it the previous weekend, no much on the way of patrons, so the following Saturday We just showed up. To our surprise it was booked out. Looks like the word had spread around. Lucky enough the one of the hostesses was very nice and I asked if they had an opening later that night. So she booked me a table an hour and a half later. We went to the boathouse for nibbles and drinks on the mean time. We had the Korean and the vietnamese BBQs. Also ordered 2 types of rice, the sizzling hot pork and the Bi Bim Bap (all this was for 4 people). Dessert was Creme Brulle and fried ice cream. They are licenced so we had Japanese Sake as well. The teenagers had water. All this was $152.20 so your average for a restaurant in Australia. In New York City we also had a Korean BBQ only Plus boiled rice and a drink each that cost us USD $163.00 and we were hungry after that . Give this place ago. We ordered the usual chinese where no menu is needed. i.e.. Beef in BlackBean sauce, Braised King Prawns and vegetables, a large special fried rice and4 dimsims and 4 spring rolls. Everything was delicious and plentiful for the three of us. We will definitely be returning to taste probably the same order again. Thank you.

A favourite of University students and staff alike, Susy's offers a number of Asian-style dishes that are all delicious. My favourite by far is the Beef Rendang - it's ridiculously tender and flavoursome!Susy's is open between 9am and 3pm, as that is the prime time for hungry students. There is inside dining available, but the most popular option is to order a dish (of varying sizes) to go and either sit outside or head back to the class/office.

Went with two friends and had a great dinner. Food is fabulous, we had red chicken curry, salt and pepper squid and seafood noodles. Not a thing left on any of the plates. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for a great evening.

Stirfry is fantastic. Very very fresh.Healthy.Not oilySmoothies the same- no frozen fruit.Staff very friendly and service prompt.Only meal i have ever been disappointed with was a chicken mince dish.Been several times and happy to keep getting my takeaways there. Have tried numerous places in Rocky in last 2/12- this one is good

Ordered take away from this place by mistake. Thought it was the other restaurant called Malaysia House in Bolsover st which really nice. Sambal prawns from Maysia Hut were disgusting. No idea what they used to make the sauce but they could do 10 times better with a packet mix. Tasted terrible so I left most of it. Ordered Roti and got prawn crackers!!! Total unauthentic.

We had a banquet, best Thai meal ever had , mix of curry meat and chicken dishes , simply the most tender meat , brilliant flavours and so much good food took it home and had lunch with it the next day ! Service great and very quant atmosphere ! If you ever visit Rockhampton you must visit this place .

East st buffet is one of Rockhamptons best value for money restaurants. We regularly take the family there, and are always happy with the friendly service and help with our little children. The all-you-can-eat buffet is always delicious and fresh with plenty available and a good variety. We would highly recommend to everyone!

My wife and I stopped in Rockhampton for the night and this restaurant was just around the corner.They do dine in and takeaway.We both had Massaman curry with rice. Both were excellent.Service was good and prices reasonable. Would definitely eat here again if in Rockhampton.

Nearly walked in by this hidden gem. My friends and I were staying for one night while travelling home and came across this restaurant. Nothing to look at from outside and basic decor. But don't be fooled behind this basic front lays an amazing experience. We had a meal each and ended up sharing each other's food arguing who's was the best. Three very full ladies one bottle of wine and a coke later and the bill wasn't even $100. Highly recommend
