Need I say more? talk about bang for your buck. Its a small Chinese takeout and the lunch specials are $4.75. the food is fresh, hot, yummy and piled high - every time! you can eat in, its spotlessly clean. We stop in whenever we are in Roanoke Rapids. oh, did I mention their fried chicken? - 4 huge wings, fried to perfection $3! you cannot go wrong w/this place. Bring your appetite ;)

We had lunch today at the New China Chinese Restaurant. The buffet had a lot of variety on it, all the food I had was really good!! The staff was very pleasant and fast. They were quick to remove used plates and refill drinks.The location is really nice with lots of parking. The prices are very reasonable.I highly recommend you stop if in the area.

A really, really solid Chinese buffet. The "Benihana" grill that is included was impressive. Fresh seafood, beef, vegetables and all the American Chinese comfort food standards! Staff was attentive. So pleased we stopped here during our long trip south instead of a big box or fast food.

Read the reviews and headed over. Staff was friendly and quick to provide their opinion of what was best. Had the Chicken and Shrimp with "fried rice" and carrots. The carrots were delicious...the fried rice...anemic but plentiful, and the stir fry less than mediocre. It was over cooked and very slim on veggies. The sauce was not great either. I would not return. The setting is pleasant. The southern staff found my northern accent of interest and were chatty about travel. Nice for a lady eating alone. But as the food was not great I won't return.
