Comfortable place where you can enjoy the best sushi in the east area of the island, prepared with the finest ingredients. We serve Creative Sushi Rolls where signature cuisine is fused with Oriental flavors and local cuisine, which you can served with th
Went based on TA reviews and wasn't disappointed. We went on a Friday and, while parking was a little difficult, easily found a seat. The door was locked and we needed to ring the doorbell to get in which took back a little, but once inside the service was friendly and prompt. My wife started with the miso soup w/crab which had a LOT of crab in it. We stuck with a few rolls and they didn't disappoint.
This place is a decent alternative to overpaying at whatever hotel or resort you are staying. Chinese / Latin cuisine, food was good, prices cheap to moderate, you can eat in or take it to go.

We have been by this restaurant many, many times because it is close to our local grocery store. But we did not have an opportunity to eat there until today, when we both had a craving for Chinese food. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised and thrilled that we have found a new favorite so conveniently located for us! The restaurant was not overly busy for a lunch when we first arrived, so I was initially concerned that the buffet would be over cooked and tired looking. Not so. The buffet was very large with many selections and the dishes were fresh and tasty! From soup to dessert, this place has so many choices that you can't go wrong. Will definitely be going back...soon!!

I do not know why so many negative reviews for this restaurant, so I am adding my informative review so future guests will know what to expect. If you want the hibachi/Teppanyaki you must make a reservation. My husband and I arrived at 7pm with no reservation, we were told it was full but we could wait 10 minutes to see if there were no shows which there were so we were promptly seated at 7:10. Do not arrive early for your reservation because you will have to wait for everyone to arrive before they will start waiting on you. Also do not arrive hungry because it will take at least 45 minutes before you eat. Maybe start out with some sushi at the sushi bar to hold you over. Also prepare to wait a little bit for your drinks because they come from the martini bar which also services the tempo restaurant next door as well as its own customers. I love the interaction with the other guests when I eat at hibachi restaurants and this time was no exception, had some great conversations with the 3 other couples at the table. We ordered the steak and lobster at $48, husband and I are not big eaters so we split it, they charged a $5 split plate charge which was not bad considering we both were given an appetizer and both got separate dinner plates with just as much rice and veggies as the other guests got. they give you a lot of food because we still had leftovers even after splitting, however there are no dipping sauces that you get at other hibachi restaurants but the food was very well flavored. I also ate at the sushi bar on another day. It is very small with only 4 seats. I ordered the spicy shrimp roll which literally only had shrimp in it with spicy sauce over the top. I thought it was weird there was nothing else in the roll until I looked at the menu again and it just stated shrimp and spicy sauce, should have stuck with the california roll because just shrimp and rice was a little bland, the spicy sauce was not inside the roll, it was put over the top and not enough of it. I do feel this restaurant is a good choice when staying at the Gran Melia. I will go back on my next visit to the resort
