Dhaulagiri kitchen is a small family run restaurant offering tradditional Nepalese and Indian cuisine from the chefs with decdes of experience. We offer authentic Thakali dishes and serve a full menu all day
Found this place on TA whilst looking for somewhere for dinner. This is a simple little, cafe looking place with fab food, reasonable prices and good service. This isnât a top end restaurant, which is why itâs so affordable and serves great food. I think itâs the food it relies on and having been to many similar restaurants, I canât fault it.I had poppadoms with a good pickle tray, a Chicken Thali, that was the best Iâve ever had and Roti that was fresh and tasty.Great local eatery. Give it your support and give it a try, you wonât regret it. Iâll be back.

Visited this restaurant during our visit to Reading university open day. The restaurant is just around the corner. If you are dining during the day, there are a few parking spaces across the road from the restaurant where you can park for a couple of hours. The lady that served us was friendly and helpful with our menu choice. We had cucumber sushi tempura prawn in a sushi for starter. The latter was unusual as we were expecting the whole prawn rather than in a sushi but it was delicious and we loved it. We tried a Korean rice and a noodle dish. Whist having our starter, the chef came out with a complimentary prawn sushi which was a nice touch. We had a lovely lunch and would definitely go back when we are next in the area.

Iâve never been to Thailand so I have no idea what authentic Thai food tastes like. However, whether itâs authentic or not, the food at Thai corner is excellent. This latest visit was my third time there and the food had been consistently delicious. Itâs always busy which is a good sign so best to book ahead. I saw people getting turned away last night. I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful food - really fresh flavours . Service was fabulous with the owner ensuring she came to engage with us to check on our evening . Itâs not cheap mainly because we greedily wanted to try so many of the dishes including starters and sides ! Will definitely return

Prior to visiting on a Wednesday early evening I checked their website for opening hours and was pleasantly surprised to see a 2-4-1 offer, but when the bill arrived no offer had been applied, we were charged for both main meals. As I was doubtful of my recollection I paid the full bill and left, but on checking next day I saw I should have got the discount!! If it were not for this deceit I would have given 3 stars as the popodums and pickles were excellent, but my chicken jalfrezi was over priced, the chicken was sparse and of poor quality but the spiciness was good.

High quality, plentiful food with South East Asian Specialties. Served in a traditional pub atmosphere. We had Asian sharing platter for two (between 3 of us) which was tasty, varied and large!Mains arrived before we had finished our starter which left our table a bit overloaded which was unfortunate. Consisting of half rack of ribs, rump steak and beef rendang curry. My ribs were so so tasty (couldnât eat them all),steak cooked to perfection and the curry had been made slightly milder to cater for my friends tastes. Polite and attentive serving staff. The cask beer (Butcombe) was well looked after. We also had keg Beavertown (Neck Oil) refreshing but a bit pricey at £5.50/pint.Will definitely visit here again when next in the area.

Healthy & delicious Vietnamese street food on King's Walk - King Street, in Reading. We specialise in pho, a tasty rice noodle soup served with a side plate of fresh herbs to add as you please, along with a range of spicy salads, wok-fried noodles, currie
Ever since Pho opened in Reading I have eaten here a lot. I came here on my first date with my other half.I came here on our anniversary.I came here to celebrate my new job.Every time a friend from out of town comes, I bring them here.I introduce colleagues to Pho.Basically, Iâm a fan.The food is fresh and delicious. My go-tos are the Goi Ga (shredded chicken salad with herbs) and the Canh Ga (chicken wings with siracha sauce) and of course, the Bun Ga Hue (hot and spicy chicken pho). I also recommend the fresh juices. The staff are always friendly and upbeat. There was one occasion with a Male waiter who was kind of rude to me but out of the 100 times that everyone has been so accommodating, I wouldnât let that blemish this little gem of a place.I would say, I was wish Pho had a loyalty card for people who eat in. You can get it with Pho to Go but not when you sit in. I can only imagine the amount of free meals I couldâve accumulated...Thank you so much! you are a part of Phomily already and we will do our best to never disappoint you in the future! Team Reading
