As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 656. It is the site of Quechee Gorge on the Ottauquechee River and is also the home to the Quechee Lakes planned community initiated in the late 1960s, which also brought to the community the small Quechee Lakes Ski Area in the 1970s.

We enjoy eating here and have figured out that eating early avoids the long, but worthwhile wait for a table. The appetizer nibbles are tasty and whet the appetite for the rest of the meal. Main dishes include sushi and are artfully arranged! Dessert is lacking, but haven't really cared about that, with no room for it anyway. Our only complaint is that the food is served too quickly, and typically everything comes almost at once, covering every available space. Yama is best seen as a high quality fast food restaurant with superb service.

Angkor Wat is a fine choice if Cambodian food interest you. My wife and I split a coconut shrimp starter. The shrimp were great and the coconut coating was crisp.I ordered the Ginger Scallops entrée. The flavoring was of subtle ginger. Not the overwhelming amount of spice dumped in by most restaurants. My wife enjoyed mussels which were equally well prepared.Service was efficient and friendly.The décor is what anyone would call basic. Also the dinning room is a bit hot an stuffy. But the cuisine is properly prepared.

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely sushi lunch. A great selection of offering. We loved the tempura shrimp sushi roll the most. The spicy salmon roll was wonderful too.

Very very good service. Good value for quality. The lamb mo mos were delicious!!!!!!! Mango lassi high quality. One disappointment for us was the chicken tarkari. The chicken seems precooked vs fresh and it was just sort of limp and uninteresting. Order the bread with herbaceous sauce.Santonez, thank you so much for taking a time to write this wonderful review. We get lots of review from our home made fresh lassi. Our Chief and kitchen staff work very hard to bring fresh innovative quality to the table. Sorry, to disappoint you because we have to prepared chicken to make sure it does not have fats everyday. We love to serve you again.
