This is the only Indonesian Restaurant in Michigan. They are considering opening an upscale new place too--think in Ferndale?This is the 1st for me. Totally enjoyed . Ordered appetizer Beef Sate 6 skewers($9.00) Yummy w/sweet soy sauce & peanut sauce for dipping-Yum, Cup (good size) Chicken Coconut Soup $4.00-good, Vegan Mango Papaya Salad $5.00-Really Good, Indonesian Chicken Curry $15.00 Quite Good. We tried Purple Sticky Rice $6.00-Purple Colored Rice w/Coconut Milk-not very sweet and a little blah-should have ordered w/mango. Tried fried banana(4) dish w/chocolate sauce & whipped cream on the suggestion of our waitress--($5.00)Great. We really wanted the Coconut Custard Brulee but, didn't have.Waitress very helpful and efficient. On the whole dishes are similar to both Indian and Vietnamese Cuisine. On my entree (Curry,) I asked waitress about how spicy dishes were. She said she likes medium at most Indian, Vietnamese Restaurants but, here she orders mild. Glad I took her advice-wouldn't have wanted any hotter--was definitely more like medium which I normally like. Can order w/no hottness too. Have Vegan choices as well. Good sized portions even on lunch size.Only place around that serves types of Mead--would like to try at later time. There is a bar inside and there is outdoor seating too.

I have been coming here since they opened, THey have amazing sushi. My friends and I usually will try to get different rolls whenever we go. And we have yet to be disappointed. If you spend $8(?), you get complimentary Miso Soup and Cucumber salad. They are both amazing. I could eat a barrel full of the Cucumber salad alone. My husband does not like Sushi, but he likes the steak sushi that they have. They have a Sunset roll, which my husband will even eat. Go here. You wont be disappointed

Have been going here for many years. Friendly and fast service and of course good Chinese. The best Hot and Sour soup ever. Ask for Na for your waitress.

Not sure who really is writing the other reviews about this restaurant. The prices are 30% or more above those of other area sushi restaurants. The portions also are smaller. Not a good value. To make it worse, it took forever to get our sushi and then my wife became ill after eating there. Sorry, we love sushi, but will not be returning.

Used to eat at Ocean City regularly (once a week) then started getting most of my meals there via take-out. I've always been impressed. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are incredible. I'm a big guy so I can definitely eat a lot, but it's impossible for me to eat my entire take-out meal (Almond Chicken). The dinner comes with an extremely generous amount of breaded chicken.. an equally generous portion of fried rice... along with various sauces (orange, soy etc...). Ordered 2 dinners this time since I was buying dinner for my family. Three of us ate very well and plenty left over. Very affordable prices and great food make for an awesome dinner. I would highly recommend giving Ocean City a try if you're in the area or just in the mood for some really good Chinese food.

My first time to So Thai. They make the best Green Apple Salad that I've had. What makes it the best? LIGHTLY dressesd; real coconut that's been shaved and toasted, and roasted cashews. Sadly, it's too far away to be my go to Thai restaurant, but when I'm in the area and want Thai, I'll be back!

We came from Ny to visit family , and stopped here for dinner due to its proximity to our hotel. Needless to say this has been one of the best Thai dinners I have had, and that includes NYC and SF. Good food!!
