One of the few Cooroy restaurants with outdoor dining, a very relaxing environment in the summer months plus the added benefit of quality Thai food.An excellent menu with old favourites such as green curry chicken or occasionally a special that is wonderful and innovative.Good value for the quality with the added bonus of BYO.Looks after those with allergies like wheat and dairy with sensitivity.

I ordered the Massaman and Yellow Curries from here. The Massaman was tasty. The rice was well cooked. But the yellow was not what was advertised on their takeaway menu. It comes with heaps of added extras like carrot, capsicum, bamboo shoots, and cucumber - all ingredients I didn't want in my dish. Update your menu so that it matches your food! Also, service was ridiculously slow - ordered takeaway and went to pick up - had to wait over an hour more for it to come out. I won't be back here in a hurry.

Lovely family atmosphere with a good selection of dishes. You can BYO wine which is always nice. At one stage the young son (maybe 11?) of the family came to the check on me at the table which was absolutely adorable. Prices are a little high by city standards but an enjoyable meal all round.

Sala Thai owners, John & Jang are local Eumundi residents with Johns family having been in the Eumundi area since 1895. Sala Thai opened in 2009. Due to the increase in popularity since opening, John & Jang have expanded the deck, kitchen & inside dining
We had lunch here and we ordered prawn rolls and chicken satay for starters. Both were very tasty and the satay was excellent. My wife ordered a spicy mince salad for lunch and it was very spicy. It wasn't the spice that was the problem with the dish it was effective is rather dry. We spoke with the owner and she said this is the traditional way that the Thai people eat this dish. And this was ok with us however we didn't particularly like it. The pad thai was good. They also have a reasonable wine list two issues from.
Great spot with plenty of choice for breakfast, brunch or lunch to eat in or takeaway. The turmeric wrap was delicious as was the cashew chai - the other food looked great. It has a lovely sunny outdoor space with plenty of shade which is great as well.
