When is a grocery store a tourist destination? When it's Wegmans flagship store. I'ts sensory overload. The cafe has a dizzying variety of prepared meals. You could visit every day for a year and not eat the same thing twice. Gourmet, vegan, kosher, Asian, BBQ, Mexican, you name it, they have it. People from out of town seek it out and are overwhelmed, and envious. Lots of locals know and love it and the bustling about makes it the Grand Central Station of grocery stores. For a quieter spot to enjoy your meal, head upstairs. If I ever moved, I'd miss this place.

All meat at Swan Market is hand-cut, all sausage hand-made by owner Barry Fischer, who apprenticed with German master butchers to bring you a taste of Germany that's authentic down to the last detail. Swan's renowned German lunches are served Wednesday th
Weâd wanted a stop for lunch on route from Connecticut to Toronto. Checked on TripAdvisor, we picked their #1 eatery in Rochester - Swan Market. Drove in Rochester under major rain, the market/restaurant was on a long street in a sketchy residential neighbourhood. The restaurant has only 3 long communal tables. Be very prepared to share table with lotâs of locals/people from all walks for lunch. We sat with a 3 generations-grandfather, father and 12 year old son and a brand new parents with their 1 month old son. The staffs are very friendly and efficient. We had the sausages sampler, and another lunch sampler meaning we had tried most of their known produces. A big counter at the opposite end of the restaurant had all the sausages and German made products, jams, bread for sale. It was the closest way to get to Germany. Get your own experience!

We visited on a Saturday during lunch time and there was only one other couple there. The waitress was very attentive and kind. Food came out super fast. We ordered the wonton soup, hot and sour soup, hunan beef, and spring rolls. The food was good, not the greatest. We wanted a quick Chinese food fix and it hit the spot. Would only consider returning because they are so quick and friendly.

The sushi was amazing! I ordered two raw rolls for take out on a Sunday night. They were quick and unbelievably fresh. I especially liked them because there wasnt too much rice around the roll, which is a problem I often find. I'll definitely be back soon to try more and highly recommend this spot!

We swung by here on the way home this weekend for a quick dinner. Even though the place was filled to the gills by a very large party, they still filled our order quickly and efficiently....tasty as ever. This is a wonderful place to get a quick meal for not much money. We really enjoy it.
