Very delicious buffet lunch served in a nice restaurant. Cosy environment with friendly staff. They even agreed to give us an extra plate of water melon with no extra cost when my friend requested. We found the water melon tasted real good --juicy and sweet. We were very thankful to have the extra bite!

We had three different datsis, ema, hentse and shuma. All three were wonderful. We also had veg momos and cheese momos. We could tell they were freshly made, so tasty The red rice was delicious also. The manager and staff are so nice. We definitely would return.

Definitely try this place for authentic Bhutanese cuisine, great taste and hospitality at decent prices. The serving size is good for 2-3 people, and best part, if you are solo, you could order half portions at half prices.Tried the Ema Datshi with Red rice!!! And they made it with less spicy peppers as I asked, perfect for me to experience the traditional datshi. The view of the mountains and the river is unique, not many restaurants around are able to offer this scenic view. Thereâs also a good collection of books and illustrative magazines on Bhutan. Yes this place offers excellent food and moreover a genuine Bhutanese experience.

RESERVATIONS ONLY. Dear guest, since we are a training institute and have to divide the time and attention of our students between theory and practice, we kindly ask you to make a reservation upfront. We can be flexible in any request, challenge us :)We a
This is a catering school but the food was excellent (buffet style, 3 courses) the staff were charming (although a little nervous), service very good and the views fabulous. I really hope that all the students do well (we met some of them) and that this school goes from strength to strength as it is a worthy cause.

Good views looking up at Tiger's Nest from the cafe. Fairly clean toilets available (free) outside cafe. Buffet lunch was OK.....plenty of it, and a good variety of options (all vegetarian though - didn't see any meat). But lunch only available 12-3pm. I don't know if it's open other times for just drinks?.....Approx 1 hour of climbing still to go from cafe to the Tiger's Nest itself.

unless you sit by the two fireplaces. the place was amazing and surrounded by trees. food was very good and the pastries were excellent over christmas. but when we returned after christmas quality went down a little (and pastries went down considerably?), not sure why. service was all good. must try its range of beers. if they could warm up the place a little in the winter, it would be perfect.

Watch out for this family run restaurant on the main street of Paro. It is very easy to miss as it is on the first floor level. The boneless chicken with burnt garlic rice is one of their signature dishes. The pork and chicken momo's are among the best we've had. The Hentsey Datshi (spinach in cheese and chilly) too was delicious. I would very strongly recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone looking for tasty local food. The owner herself gave us helpful suggestions in deciding our menu.

Best Pizza place in whole Paro town with separate kitchen for veg and non-veg pizza. This is the only place where you get gene food option.
Bhutanese buffets are marginal at first and utterly revolting after 20 straight meals. Red rice, tough stir fried meats of questionable provenance, overcooked veggies, and no seasoning make for a great weight loss plan but the tasteless fare becomes edible sadness after a few meals. And for some reason these buffets seem to be the only thing hotels or tour guides want you to eat. Authentic Pizza is a glorious exception. It is a gem, a jewel, and a true deliverance from the tasteless bland Hell that are Bhutanese buffets. Great service, good pizza, cold beer and MEAT and CHEESE and other favorite toppings are here in profusion. I highly recommend this place. I will probably eat there tonight again. Thank you for Lovely review and visiting us. I'm glad u enjoyed our Authentic Pizza. The main reason why we started pizzeria is to give some food choice as we dont have much option when it comes to food variety in Bhutan.
