We traveled to the area for our daughter's birthday, she picked this resturant to eat at. We had a sampler patter which was fair, the chicken had a different flavor to it, the rest shrimp, mandu, spring rolls, were good. We ordered the house fried rice just ok lacked any shrimp, sesame chicken which came with fine noodles was ok not the best, I had shrimp and vegetables, nice big shrimp, szeshan beef and beef with vegetables my husband thought was great and fresh. Service was good, atmoshere was good, my daughter was given pieces of roll cake for her birthday. large portions for the money.

I am an avid fan of Scratch! I eat there weekly. My favorite is her vegetarian pho. But, she also makes it with seafood, chicken, or beef. I also didn't like dumplings until I tried hers, she can steam them or fry them. Her Beef Karkar is to die for! She also makes tons of other dishes all from scratch and delectable. Great service, and a cool atmosphere. You can also get tenderloins! Or, you can pre order pies too! She caters all the time, so if you want something delicious and hearty for a wedding or another type of gathering she is your girl. She even takes the time to rinse her rice like three times.OVE LIVE LOVE HER CUISINE! Again, did I tell you I LOVE IT?!?!?!

I ate here with my in-laws the other day. They have a good selection of food in the buffet, noodles, chicken, vegetable and standard Chinese fare. The server was polite and refilled drinks promptly. They had ice cream and different cakes for desert. I liked this place and plan to return if I'm back in Ottumwa again.
