This place has been sort of a pillar restaurant in Olds. It's in a historical building that's been home to a Chinese restaurant for a very long time. I usually don't bother writing negative reviews, but I can't actually believe people like the food here.The good news is that is has a lunch buffet. That's rare, and that is excellent. I love buffet's. But the food on the buffet is either bland and tasteless or it's far too full of salt. I'm always disappointed when I eat here (it's probably the closest restaurant to us, about 100 feet from our front door). I will never recommend this place to anyone, but I'm guilty of eating there out of convenience, or because I'm super hungry and they have a buffet on. So it's not all terrible, just mostly terrible. There's two Chinese restaurants within 2 blocks that make food that is better, so there's really no excuse for going here, unless you enjoy bland food.

This is my go-to for Chinese takeout, especially because it's the only Chinese food restaurant in Olds with a positive AHS inspection report. Call me crazy, but I only eat at places that get a passing grade from the health inspector. Anyway, I always get the Dinner for Two so I can scratch the itch for a couple of meals. Everything is always hot and fresh and tastes amazing. Pricey, which Chinese food always is, but I'm a big guy and can usually get four solid meals out of one order. That's value. Do yourself a favor and eat here. They actually care about food safety and make delicious food as a bonus.

A hidden gem in the town of Olds! We came upon this cafe quite by accident & decided to give it a try. Sure glad we did! There are lots of options on the menu for every taste. The food was really amazing, service superb & portions very generous for a decent price. We will definitely be making a point of stopping in at Narra Cafe again!Thank you so much for the inspiring review. Greatly appreciated!

We stopped in here on a visit to the Olds botanical gardens. We saw a sign outside for Smoothies and decided to go in and try some sushi too. The Mango cream smoothie was absolutely delicious. A generous amount of cream and fresh mangos on top, and so flavour filled. Miso soup (on the house on our visit) was great.We had a number of sushi rolls too, which were much bigger than expected, and really fair priced. We left feeling full, and they were able to promptly deliver a to go order of rolls, perfectly timed for my friend as we were leaving. Thanks Mr. Bowl & Sushi - we will be back!

We enjoy dining here as the Chinese food is served with some spices that make it very tasty. For instance, I like honey garlic ribs and whatever spice they put on ti makes it my favorite!!!

There's nothing on the menu here that is going to turn you off. This is basic Vietnamese food, and it stands tall on it's own as simple ingredients done right. You're dining in Olds, a rural community, so don't expect the sort of Vietnamese you might be used to in the city, there is a little less variety here. I eat here as much as I eat in any restaurant, and it's one of my favorite places to go. Olds is very lucky to have this restaurant, the portion sizes are excellent. My favorite are the salad rolls and the special vermicelli.

The name of the restaurant doesnât lie! Very tasty. We stopped in for a business lunch and tripadvisor never steers me wrong! Some of the best Thai food Iâve had in a long time. The place was very busy with locals which is always a good sign. Many were picking up takeout as well. We had a couple of very tasty entrees and spring rolls as an appy all which were quick and great. The only thing I didnât care for was the Thai tea. Was mostly condensed milk and not a lot else in my opinion. Iâm thinking anything will be a good choice on the menu. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Check it out!
