Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Nuevo Vallarta. In Nuevo Vallarta, you can lounge on the golden-sand beaches of Banderas Bay… or take an ATV tour through the nearby Sierra Madre jungle. A local water park has great twisting slides and sea lion shows… or you could treat the kids to a memorable swim with dolphins. (It'll make for a great "What I did over summer vacation" report.)

Fairly new restaurant in the Grupo Mayan/VIDA complex. Excellent traditional Mexican specialties.
This restaurant was in our hotel lobby. It was excellent! I had the best salad and steak. All of the food was amazing and the chef sends out a couple of taster portions of a couple items. Yum!! Great service! Pretty atmosphere. We sat outside. Went here with a group of 8. Seated immediately, greeted by friendly wait staff. Sat inside as we were hoping for some relief from the heat and were told there was air conditioning. Well...not really. Menus were delivered and drink orders placed. I tried the Manga ($10 USD) it was delicious but at the price tag I avoided having another. Dinner was ordered and it took quite some time for the order to be brought to the table (45-60 mins), even though the restaurant wasnât very busy at all. I ordered Sambal Shrimp and husband ordered Black Shrimp Curry. We also split a sushi roll Gyo Sake. Sambal was HOT spice wise (and I like spicy foods) but it was almost overbearing. Also it did not come with rice or anything, just shrimp, tomatoes, onions, and lemon wedges. The curry was pretty good but wasnât anything that I felt like was spectacular. The sushi roll was honestly the best thing we ate besides trying a bite of the sea bass from a friend. Our total restaurant visit was around 2 hours. If youâre just dying for some Asian or Indian style foods, then this place will work. Overall, I donât feel like we would go here again. The wait staff was excellent and the food was fine. But honestly between the high pricing and the wait time, there are better, cheaper, and faster places on the resort to go and spend your money. Appreciated V1885CMashleyc,Thanks for providing your experience in our place. More than a restaurant, Nicksan is a culinary experience of the highest level. In its open kitchen the ingredients of two ancestral cultures located in opposite points of the world are fused. Its owners Masayuki Niikura and Ãngel Carbajal, originally from
nick San is our favorite restaurant when visiting Nuevo Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.their exemplary standards are a testament to the exquisites food served.of course what makes the evening to perfection is always the amazing service they always offer.Last night sitting on the lovely patio by the fountain, we had the most superb waiter Raul Cortes. Ask for him, you wonât be sorry. his recommendations were all excellent, together with his masterful and professional service.he recommended the leachie martini, it was the best I had ever enjoyed, I might add at only approximately four dollars.I did not get the name of his assistant who paid us such detailed attention, making sure plates were removed as we were finished, and water was refilled, an excellent pair.I might also add that the toilets were pristine, the best in the area, a big plus for me.Their menu is comprehensive, each dish artfully delivered, and fresh, one can taste the fish so right out of the ocean.I thought prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the fine dining experience.Dear guest,We are truly pleased to read you had a wonderful time with us, Thanks for sharing the names of those who had contact with you, sure they'll be thrilled to be recognized. We hope to welcome you back very soon. Our best wishes,
