Checked this place out after watching Triple D on the TV.Ordered the loaded fries and crab & brisket pocket (see pics) as shown on Triple D. Both were absolutely superb and lived up to Guy Fieriâs reviews. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

Returned once again, this time for my wifeâs birthday lunch. She chose Hughies as she loves their Bahn Mi. The bread is out of this world and the meats are very good too. My wife had the lemongrass chicken which is her favorite and I had the lemongrass beef. Both were outstanding. We both got the $11 beer special which includes a Bahn Mi, fries and a beer (beer must be $6 or less). The waitstaff is always friendly and efficient. In the past I have had the vermicelli bowl which is very good. The egg rolls which are great. The wings are very good as well. I really enjoyed the pot stickers, I had both the steamed and fried both are very good.I have introduced many friends to Hughies and all love the place and all have returned many times. One couple we took here now travel down from The Woodlands to eat here.My wife and I also enjoyed Bahn Miâs at a small hole in the wall in Chinatown on Bellaire. In October we decided to try both the Bellaire place and Hughies on two consecutive days to judge who had the better Bahn Mi.....Hughies won. My wife reaffirmed that judgement yesterday when we finished our lunch.

We had a group of six and sat outside. We all had the special which was the gargonzola crusted ribeye. It was very good!Pros: Our waiter was great, the steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. The steaks were thick and juicy. Asparagus was also very good.It was a cool evening so the weather was perfect (that wonât last!). Cons: Price - the bill for food and a couple of drinks each was over $300. Other than that none. All in all a great dining experience!

Fantastic experience during their omakase. The quality of food is top notch, courses have been served in a timely fashion and our server was very knowledgeable about food.
