Absolutely loved it, great food, good selection. Everything had a good flavour and texture. It is not a ordinary "Dutch" Indonesian restaurant, but more focussed on a few things done well. And they do them well. Have an open mind and enjoy it.

Where do I begin... Our hotel (just accross the street) booked us a table at this restaurant just after our check-in. We had absolutely no idea what kind of restaurant it was: they just told us that the wine was delicious and that we could have numerous courses menu. We jumped in ! When we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of Cava, a steambasket and some peanut's toast as appetizer: absolutely delicious. We chose de 8 courses menu, with the wine selection. We couldn't have done a better choice. Every single course was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The wine matched perfectely with each dish. We particularly appreciated the sympathy of the staff. They gave us an explanation about all the wines, the dishes, and the way the matched together. It has been years since I had visited the Kyoto restaurant near the Philips Stadium. The restaurant offers quality traditional Japanese cuisine. However the concept is quite traditional with an a-la-carte selection where other multiple-round concepts fit this type of food better, I personally think. However, we had a nice evening with good food.

Looking for a place to eat not to far from where we live we ended up in this restaurant. The concept is quit simple and smart. You can eat as much as you want for a certain price. Only condition: you need to finish the dish before asking a new dish. Because it takes some time and the staff is very efficient in asking if you want another drink, at the end of the evening/diner the bill is still high.But the food is excellent, nicely served and very friendly staff.Do we ever return here? The answer is "yes" but not to often.A good example of innovating an old concept into a modern way of making money.

Very friendly staff! Good sushi en asian specialities. You can choose different small plates with delicious tastes. 28 euro and you can order as much as you want. Desert is not included. Definitely worth a visit if you like good food and have time to spend an evening in a cosy atmosphere.

The décor is well thought out and the menu is inspired. As you transition from course to course you'll be pleasantly surprised at each turn. Each dish has traditional undertones but are lifted by modern techniques and locally sourced ingredients. If I had to choose, the highlights for me were the Singaporean black pepper lobster (traditionally crab) and Hong Kong scallops on the half shell, though the meal as a whole was faultless.The sommelier/hostess will really seal the deal if you're looking for an outstanding dining experience, her choice of wine pairings were perfect and her non intrusive attentiveness is unrivalled.It's worth travelling for, I guarantee it.
