Probably the best restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. This is our second visit. Had gone for the long degustation menu both times, and been extremely impressed on both occasions. The menu is always interesting, innovative, and the flavours are just incredible. Cannot recommend Wasabi highly enough.

Nisa Thai offers genuine authentic thai food. specialties being, chilli duck, Atlantic salmon topped with seafood and Thai salad. Home made steamed chicken mince Dim Sims.
Visited Nisa Thai on recommendation from locals and had a very nice meal. Green curry was disappointing however as it was sweet, white and creamy and tasted like it was made with condensed milk. Not very authentic and disappointing as it was a favourite of reviewers. Thai beef salad was good but the meat did taste as if it had been cooked over a direct gas flame and had a âfuelâ taste. Sauce was great though!Best dishes were the fish cakes and Stir Fry chicken and cashews which was an unexpected flavour filled delight and will be a return favourite for us! We will be back to try other dishes as our overall impression was to give it another go. BYO wine is a plus and staff were wonderful.

Revisited restaurant after a 2 year break. The standard of food is excellent especially the signature snapper curry. The only negative was the long wait time for our drinks ordered( believe we had a new waitress and it slipped her mind.. we had to remind her twice). Yellow fin tuna was also excellent. Recommended for a special night out!Hi astroaustralia,Thank you for letting us know of your experience. It is wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed the food. Indian food tasted as authentic as our trip to India last year, just like the food at Dhaba at The Claridges in Dehli. Their choice of regular Indian dishes and all of their specialty vegetarian and vegan are truly on trend. The endamame bean samosas for appetiser with a tasty relish, the chickpea, potato and cauliflower curry and the mixed vegetable curry were spiced to perfection and we chose the coconut rice and the raita to accompany. Loved the garlic naan which was crispy but soft, and the mango lassi - smooth and proper mango flavour. We really enjoyed our dinner, the music in the nearby streets and the cars passing on Hastings Street, close your eyes and you are in India.Dear Rob and Sharyn ,Thanks for your lovely review and a second visit in three days.Oh boy and we were floored to know that such a lovely review comming from the Dean of Cordon bleu, Sydney.Hope to see you again very soon.

This is a small and tucked away restaurant where, in our experience, advance reservations are essential. There is no a la carte menu, only a choice of a 4-course or 6-course degustation. The food is exquisite, delicate, highly nuanced flavors, and artistically presented. The starters were all seafood, and the main a choice between wagyu beef and cured mackerel, both sensational. Although paired saki is available, the BYO option allows your own paired wine (think wooded chardonnay). Only chopsticks were offered, which was not an issue except for those needing to flake their mackerel fillet. The beef came thinly sliced. Service was friendly and professional with comprehensive descriptions of each menu item and its preparation. This is fine food and highly recommended.
