"Omakase" means "I'll leave it to you" (from Japanese "to entrust"). The expression is used at sushi restaurants to leave the selection to the chef. The Chef will present a series of plates, beginning with the lightest and proceeding to heavier, richer di

Indo is barely 2 miles from the glitzy bistros and chain restaurants of Eagle and Palm Beaches, but the atmosphere and prices are a world away.Itâs a hole-in-the-wall joint, with limited parking (altho you can take your chances in a lot across the street). Upon entering, youâre hit with a colorful interior, lively bar and salsa/cumbia music thumping in the back. The walls are adorned with images & flags from Surinam and Indonesia, plus a painting of Obama (perhaps in homage of his time in Indonesia). This was the most authentic, real Aruban dining experience of our trip. Customers were mostly locals, a multiethnic, multigenerational mix. Indo attracted several customers whoâd just finished a workout at the fitness gym across the street (sweat, spandex, sangria) and has a brisk take-out operation. We heard several languages spoken (including from our 3 servers, whose families no doubt hailed from 3 different continents). The menu is largely Surinamese, which was new to me. Try a refreshing Parbo beer. Iâd never had plantains with peanut sauceâ¦a revelation! We had spicy shrimp curry and grouper entrees; both flavorful, generous portions.Service was a little disorganized and sluggish, but we were enjoying the scene so much we didn't care. On the way out, one of our servers rushed over to give us each a slice of homemade cake in wax paper. Indo is cheap, raucous fun.

At Benihana, it's all about what we each bring to the table. You've brought your family, friends, appetites and enthusiasm to the table, and it's our mission to turn every meal into an experience. Our sushi chefs artfully prepare a wide variety of signatu
We arrived without reservation on a day that they were short staffed and the maitre d made it her business to have us seated as soon as possible. They gave us a complimentary drink while we waited. The cook was very talented and made the experience fun even though I've been to Benihana plenty of times before this. I could see that our cook was much better than the other two tables.

Dragonfly is the new authentic Sushi & Asian restaurant and lounge, located in Arawak Garden just across from Barceló Resort in Palm Beach. The menu features combos of sushi rolls and sashimi for 2, 4, and 6 persons, as well as traditional ramen with vegg
We ate here a couple years ago when it was new, and I didn't like the restaurant. Now, the food is good, so they have improved. But the service is slow, and they tried to seat us at a table practically in the pedestrian walkway, and then at a hightop (we're seniors), when there was more comfortable seating available. I would go back because the food now is good., though. The other thing is on Thursdays the early bird menu is good all night long. But they didn't bring us that menu until we asked for it. Little nuisances.Thank you for your positive TripAdvisor review and we are happy to learn that you had a pleasant experience with us. It was wonderful having you at our restaurant and we are looking forward to welcoming you back again soon.Kind regards,Alfons Linders â [email protected]
