Nothing like a Scottish group celebrating at a Chinese restaurant but all was great ...meal, service , staff , location . Most did buffet but I had a MSG less plate ....very delicious and piping hot .jim , the owner is always very welcoming and accommodating . We had the back room to ourselves although might have had to share it ......all in all a very good place to have an event . We have been there before as a clan group but try to move around to be fair ... The snowless weather helped too ....Buffet looked good too .

We ordered the âdinner for twoâ Chinese food as takeout. The portions were average size. We paid extra to have the shrimp fried rice which had a few pieces of shrimp in it - which probably added up to about 2 whole shrimp. We will never order that again! The meal was tasty but quite salty. We found the price rather expensive for the size and quality. The price has increased quite dramatically in the last few months and we donât feel that itâs worth it!

What a nice find! I love Korean food and this cozy, friendly, delightful restaurant offers traditional Korean offerings. The preparations emphasize fresh, tasty dishes and generous portions. On both of our visits, we ordered carryout as it was mid-afternoon and we wanted to eat our dinners later (we had rented a nearby house). The bulgogi is mild; the pork, spicy; the veggie dishes flavorful. Very moderate prices. If you are new to Korean food, just let the gracious cook guide you. The owners have a farm and their blueberries were in the Wolfville market. Hope they find their way into a dessert!

This restaurant has two different buffets, one for lunch and one for supper. More seafood was added to the supper buffet. There was a good variety of food as well as two different soups, different entrees, desserts and a chocolate flowing machine with marshmallows that was frequented by children and adults alike. Prices were reasonable. My wife ordered fish a la carte and this took a bit longer before the food arrived but was tasty and hot.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch! The decor is very tasteful and elegant, the smorgasbord is constantly replenished and kept hot. The staff are pleasant and attentive without being over bearing. There is also a selection of western food which is also kept topped up.The desert array is second to non and will certainly be pleasing to the chocolate addicts among us. They have a chocolate fountain and everything that can go with it.!We took a friend in on our return from the airport and he could not wait to get back to the chocolate fountain, saying how much his wife would like it.! Baloney, he was absolutely besotted with it.By the way we stopped in on the way back from collecting his wife from the airport a week later and while she did like it but not as much as he did!!

I'm guessing the business model for this Japanese-Thai restaurant is that an all-you-can-eat menu will be enough to sustain it. (At a recent lunch, we opted to order from the regular menu instead.)It certainly isn't the indifferent, almost apathetic youthful wait staff who appeared far more interested in talking and laughing together rather than meeting customer needs. It certainly isn't the quality of what comes out of the kitchen â commercially prepared miso soup, a âredâ Thai curry sauce that looked suspiciously like yellow (nam prik gaeng karee) curry paste and had the heat level normally associated with, say, tartar sauce. It certainly isn't the salad of iceberg lettuce that came with a bento box. Instead of the traditional citrus/ginger dressing, this one inexplicitly had what looked and tasted like bottled thousand island dressing instead. We ordered a plate of vegetarian gyoza to start. While I was in the washroom, my wife was told that it wasn't available. (Neither was the eggplant in her vegetarian curry dish, for that matter.) I would have switched to another appetizer but just couldn't get the waiter's attention to do so. The food? Hits and misses. Nothing particularly bad. Nothing particularly good. Nothing to warrant a return trip, especially when quality Chinese and Thai restaurants in nearby Halifax offer superior service and food.

This restaurant advertised Chinese and Canadian food. I love Chinese good nut my wife does not so we look for a restaurant to satisfy both of us. The Canadian portion of their menu lists sandwiches - turkey, grilled cheese, etc. They have a buffet but at $17.99 was too expensive.

We always pick up some Soon Han's Sushi when we're in the valley. Everything is fantastic and reasonably priced. Adorable little authentic mom and pop venue. Worth checking out!
