The floor of this restaurant is the sand on Nai Yang Beach just a short distance above high tide mark, open to the breach and views, so I was glad the weather was perfect. Good selection of dishes on the menu, had some shrimp rice , greens and a couple of very large giant prawns ,sold by weight before you order, worth the inceased cost .

Most mornings in Nai Yang start for me with a 'Green Family' juice or a freshly squeezed orange juice and Peony's is where I found them. Kale, cucumber & mint just perfect to start the day! I'm not a coffee drinker but my partner always has an expresso here and he is a coffee lover. The muesli, yoghurt with fresh seasonal fruits is also very good. Sometimes if we feel like eggs it's hard to go past the crispy croissant filled with scrambled egg which is generous and very nicely done. Staff are friendly and attentive and most customers are repeat business so this place does engender that rare Thai holiday feeling - community spirit! A delicious range of Thai specialties, home cooked, are also on offer but can change daily. One morning we had Massaman Curry and fresh cooked roti and it tasted great - not the usual way to start the day but it was so delicious we couldn't help it!

We ate here a number of times while at Naithon Beach. Every time the food was good, freshly cooked and a delight to eat.Its on the road at the back of the beach.

Over the course of a week-long stay at Trisara, we ate 7 lunches and dinners at this restaurant. Every one of them was excellent and the service was great. Our only regret was not eating here moreâas food-minded travelers, we insisted on trying out a handful of restaurants outside the resort but never found anything as great as Trisaraâs house restaurant.The menu is extensive, offering a full range of Thai dishes plus many options from a multitude of international cuisines. The Thai food was -hands down- the best Thai we have ever had, even compared to amazing, âgourmetâ upscale options that we have at home in San Franciscoâthe flavors were more intense, more exotic, and more fresh, plus the menu had a number of options which we donât see at home. Particularly noteworthy is the crab curry, which both my partner and I agree is the best Thai dish we have ever had, anywhere. Outside of Thai, we tried a number of other dishes from New American/Californian, Mexican, and European cuisines, and (much to our surprise!) all were excellent. Particularly notable is the splurge-worthy black truffle pizzaâwe were super skeptical, but it was masterfully done, with an impressive thin/light, cracker-like crust and a layer of light and delicate cheese to compliment the (generous) black truffles. With such high quality across enormous variety, we never got bored with even 7 meals at this spot. Rather than boredom, the issue quickly became fighting off desire to re-order dishes we had already tried so that we could try new ones!Dear Shanescs Greetings from Seafood at Trisara. We booked this restaurant after seeing it in a film. The entrance is stunning and the raft experience was something different. The food we ate was well presented and tasty. Service was excellent and not rushed. A must visit place if staying at the slate.

We've recently had lunch at Coconut tree and were disappointed with the meals ordered: pancake with ice-cream looked and tasted more like a huge plain toast, dry and flavourless. There are still some good fresh juice, but meals with meat are also more than average. The interior is nice, the staff is quick and friendly. Still there's no desire to come back because of food.

We have been staying in Anantara Layan for 8 days. On the first night we ate at Dee Plee and it was absolutely excellent.The location is overwhelming with a beautiful view of the beach, the staff is extraordinary professionel, kind and courteous.They explained every dish they had and even gave every guest an origional thai starter for free.We never ate such an authentic thai food in such a beautiful Atmosphere.It is worth the price.We can highly recommend this place!Dear Leckermaulchen,Thank you so much for your great review. Trip Advisor did not let us down with this restaurant. Delicious Thai food at reasonable prices. It is worth walking that little bit further down the road from the Pullman Aradia to find this. I can recommended the Massamon Curry. This is my all time Thai favorite, a dish i learnt to cook in Thailand. It was amazing. So was the Vegetarian Spring Rolls- Crispy and no oily taste. The morning Glory was perfect Thai too. We'll come back.
