I am a big fan of Thai food, so was delighted to find the Siam Bistro while on holiday. Booked a table for a Monday evening and it was really busy. Had the vegetarian spring rolls to start and the vegetarian pad Thai for mains. Was really impressed with the flavours and the service. Will look forward to returning next year.

Situated in the heart of Ilfracombe, Emperor's Court offers mouth-watering Chinese cuisine. Emperor's Court is renowned throughout the Devon area for its style and presentation of traditional Chinese cuisine, this is achieved by paying special attention t
Food here is simply beautiful, great value for money as the portions are very generous. The staff were very friendly and couldnât do enough for us during the visit. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and very modern inside. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely Chinese in Ilfracombe.

My wife and I visited The Gurkha restaurant after being offered a disgusting meal in our hotel. We had passed this restaurant many times walking through Ilfracombe, to the Tunnels and Beach (See review) and the tourist areas of the town. The Gurkha describes itself as an Asian International restaurant - on the door it states it serves Cantonese, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian and Nepali buffet. We entered and we were introduced by the waitress and escorted to a table. Behind us was the buffet, it was full of various types of Asian food. The buffet was charged at £11.95. To be honest we were expecting the meal to be good, but the meal was amazing. The buffet options were all delicious, and it was an "Eat as much as you can." I went up three times, and my wife went up two times. We each had an desert - ice cream. All in all, the Gurkha was a brilliant Asian restaurant, I tried foods I would not normally have tried, the waitress was excellent. The food was always freshly cooked.I would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Ilfracombe and would like a fabulous meal.
