Hasmy's barbeque is one of the best i've tasted. They have the full range from chicken tikka to kebabs and mishkaki. Their prices are very reasonable too. I've been there twice with my wife and we both immensely enjoyed their chicken tikka and masala chips. All their dishes are served with salad/kachumbari. Their service is also quite fast, definitely a plus point for the restaurant.
After 9 hours travel from Nairobi, we arrived in Mombasa in the morning, very exhausted and needed a place to find good local food and a drink. We wondered the streets looking for a nice affordable restaurant to dine. Most restaurants had not prepared meals by 11am so our search continued till we landed to this small, friendly restaurant. The service was fast and food was served in friendly manner. I loved the ugali and kuku sauce plus hot pepper. The best meal I heard though out my tripThere was this young man I can't remember his name and Rukia. Thank you for making our visits more relaxing and memorable. We will visit next time

Relax in an atomosphere of peace, tranquilty and serenity as you share a meal or drink with friends, family or business associates. Experience the finest tastes of India at our Namaskar Restaurant; or contintental cuisine by the pool at Spirit of the Seas
We were taken by our family to the newish Namaskar restaurant situated in the Bliss resort , near to Nyali Centre for one of our last nights in Mombasa and initially we had high hopes when entering. Lots of money had been spent on the decor, design, water features etc but unfortunately these high hopes were not realised. The young lady server was the best feature of the place, very pleasant, helpful and accommodating but the food did not live up to expectations. The prices of the individual dishes were very reasonable but the standard was lacking. Seated and orders taken we had some lassi to quench our thirst. First there was no mango to make mango lassi! Then the salt lassi when it appeared had a very strange taste and had to be sent back. We settled for bottled sodas. Various chicken dishes were delivered, albeit at a very slow pace and none of them were exceptional, very average at best. The salad to accompany the meal also had a very strange off-taste, not very nice at all. ! What was wrong? How can fresh salad have such a weird taste? Anyway, the chilli chips were edible and the chicken and fish fingers for the youngest member of our group seemed to be OK. The dessert of gulag jamun was ordinary. Dense and stodgy, lacking in syrup. Service was good and was far better than the food. Not somewhere where I would want to return to.

Traditional Indian Restaurant offering Ala Carte menu and special curry lunch buffet on sundays and public holidays.Open from 12:30hrs to 14:30hrs for lunch and 19:30hrs to 22:30hrs for dinner and closed on Mondays.
Located at Travellers beach hotel, environment of the hotel was warm and cosy..however we did not have a pleasnat experience as there was lots of noise from the table just next to ours who was celebrating a birthday party-lots of screaming and balloon bursting, as it's located in a closed environment. I suggest they should have family rooms where they can host such events otherwise its a distraction to the others who have come to have a peaceful dinner. Apart from that put off the service was good and enjoyed the food too. Good variety though it was a bit overpriced!

Then 2-3 types of desserts. Over all it was a good experience. Great welcoming owners and staff too
best food in qaffee point restaurant, It's a weekend vibe at Qaffee POINT. Drop by and experience some quality food time.
This redifines fine dining in Mombasa. There has never been a place in Mombasa like this. From the luxurious chic decor to the quality of the food and service. A well deserved place in Mombasa.I have been there several times and to all the coffee houses in Mombasa (yes, there are other decent ones), however this is by far, the best one on the coast. The seating area, especially in the basement, is comfortable and homey. The food quality and service meets all standards. The owner is also very polite and greets you at the front. They also offer a wide range, full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), including dessert. A must visit for anyone in Mombasa. Pricing is also decent, and not as expensive as the other other places in Mombasa. It would normally be perceived to be a coffee house, however they take it to another level. If you ever want an all in one experience, this is the place to be. Gone are the days when you would have to visit a Restaurant and a Dessert place separately. You can get the full experience here. I would definitely visit this place again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience of food and dessert under one roof.

A great Indian Vegetarian only restaurant serving snacks and main meals from North India and South India with Mumbai street food, pasta and chips and Indo chineese cusine are also popular. Tasty and adequately tickes the palette. Efficient and quick service - slightly an upper version of the SHIV SAGARS in India.

Smart place this. Lovely seating area and bar. Lots of ceiling fans creating a through draft as the sides are open, perfect for a Mombasa December. Very friendly and professional staff. Food was delicious and portions were on the large side. The Bentos were esp good. Good value. Good drinks choice. Recommended.
