When my friend told me that there was a Peruvian/Chinese restaurant around, we decided to check it out. This restaurant was my 7th and last stop in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area continuing with my culinary Peruvian experience. My expectation were high, I haven't had Chinese/Peruvian since I have been to Peru. The food wasn't bad, but I had better Chinese food. The portions were large; definitely what a peruvian would call tay-pa.I didn't order anything special, some vegetables and some fried rice. My friends ordered the fried noodles. I ask if she thought the food had a Peruvian flavor, and she said no. They had Lucuma ice-cream and that save the day for me!Maybe is the fact that there are so many Peruvian people that makes you think you are somewhere in Peru. Chifa TayPa is a very ambitious project. I don't think you could have this type of food, but only in Peru. It is the fusion of so many years that could not be imitated outside the country. Would I go back? No. If I feel like Chinese food, I know the place.

We have lived in Coral Springs for only a year. My husband had a hankering for Chinese food tonight, and we decided to try Red Ginger Asian Bistro for the first time.We are so glad we did! We arrived at about 7:15 PM on a Saturday night. The parking lot area nearest the restaurant was almost completely full, but we got the one remaining spot. We walked into the restaurant, and although it was extremely busy, with takeout and dine-in customers, we were able to be seated within just moments. Our server, Amy, promptly greeted us and took our drink order. We got a pot of hot tea, and it was piping hot & delicious. My husband ordered miso soup to start, and he received a generous serving of it, in a bowl. He really enjoyed it. I ordered Vegetarian Spring Rolls to start. They were perfect, and were served with generous portions of both Honey Mustard sauce and Duck sauce. My entree was Honey Garlic Chicken, served with rice, and my husband's was called "Rainbow from the Sea", which is a mixed bowl of shrimp, crabmeat, scallops, and veggies in garlic sauce, served with rice. We both enjoyed our entrees, and could not finish them because the portions were very large. We brought the rest of our food home with us. Service was pleasant and prompt. We had no complaints whatsoever. We agreed that this restaurant is definitely worth returning to!

I went here tonight and will never return. The food was mediocre, the service horrid. I come from the DC area which is loaded with Vietnamese restaurants, so I know Vietnamese food.We ordered 2 simple dishes, Pho and pork with vermicelli. Pho always come with a separate dish with items to put in the soup, here they "forgot" it. The pork always comes with a fish sauce on the side, they "forgot" that as well. The food was not at all as good as I have had at many other places. The pho was watery and the pork vermicelli was mostly all lettuce. We ordered tea, and when it got cold we asked them to give us a fresh pot. They charged an additional $2.50 for that! As far as service goes,we were basically ignored.. It is a large restaurant and when we arrived about 6pm it was empty. Then a party of 5 with two small children came in and they seated them right next to us. The children were loud and boisterous, it was stupid to sit them where they did.Any time we needed something we had to track down the server, they never came to the table to ask if anything was needed. This was considering only 3 tables were occupied. It was not a great experience. there are far better places to go.

Bottom Line: Good food. Reasonably priced.Details: We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon to a mostly empty restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu had all of the usual Vietnamese dishes at mostly reasonable prices (although a bit higher than I'm used to). Our food was served relatively quickly and was good portioned. Only thing I didn't care for was the automatic 18% service charge they added since we had 8 in our party (3 kids).

We've been here several times over the years. Nothing fancy, just good THAI food at a reasonable price. They've changed it around a bit. It seems more inviting. We both ordered food, served promptly and hot. My PAD THAI was very nicely prepared spiced nicely and enjoyable. My sweetie had no complaints about her meal.if you're in the area, this is a good choice for lunch or dinner. Try Pad THAI, you'll like it!

You might think the name Santos is spanish. Actually it is Chinese.SANTO ' S is the spelling. The sushi, vast assortment of choices in both Chinese and American dishes are all upscale quality. Hand carved meats include steak, prime rib, sausage, etc. The cost is about double a cheap Chinese buffet, but worth it.

My husband & I stopped by on a Friday at 6 pm on our way to a concert at Coconut Creek Casino. We were fortunate to arrive during the 5-7 happy hour. We had a wonderful sushi platter and scallops pad Thai. They have a beautiful outside area. The food and service was great, we will return.
