We have dined here for both lunch and evening meals. Something for everyone. A good menu and absolutely delicious. They cater for the lovers of spicy foods and for those of us who like something a little milder. A much needed startup in Sumner. Well worth a visit (or two).

I have reviewed this restaurant before however that was 4 years ago and there is a different team and menu now. However they still do âfluffyâ naan! The more extensive menu now has goat as a choice along with lamb and chicken. The seafood is quality white fish rather than the Ling found in many Indian restaurants.I chose goat Pasanda and it was subtle and the goat tender. My partner had lamb Biryani, a dish she often orders, and she is still raving about it. She said that the flavours were subtle but distinctive and didnât all meld together. Her serving was generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have dined at the highly rated Spice Room in Wanaka and I commented that tonight was the nicest Indian that weâve had since then.I only rate excellent if I believe that the experience was better than most others Iâve had in similar establishments. I never hesitated hitting excellent this time.We really appreciate your beautiful comment. Yes, we use only best quality ingredients when it comes to our foods and services..We are really pleased to know that our food and services were to your expectation..We are looking forward to serving you again in future...

The food here is so good and tasty that i make sure i go to this restaurant everytime i go to Christchurch on business. I have been here 6 times in the past 4 weeks and the food standard is always high. The vegetarian sliders are very nice for an entree and the biriyani is a must try. Lamb curry is super. Highly recommend it to visitors. It's a licensed place as well and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's located in front of the ibis hotel.

This is a quiet Japanese restaurant with a lovely view of the sea . We were surprised it wasn't fully booked .The menu is extensive and all perfectly cooked at the right price. The shrimp fish cakes are a must .We missed a Japanese curry on the dinner menu but notice it's on the takeaway menu.Open for lunch , dinner and takeaways. We will be back soon as we need to support small local businesses and the food and service is perfect.

We ate in a lot of Indian Restaurants all over New Zealand, but Ferry Indians was definitely not among the good ones. First of all, the toilets are outside of the restaurant in a business building, shared with another restaurant and quite dirty. In the restaurant they used incense sticks, so the whole room and our clothes smelled like that. The food - both of us had curries - did not have a real good and authentic taste. But one good thing: the waiter was nice and friendly.

Had a lovely meal last week. The food was out of this world, tasty hot and plenty. The service a little slow, took a while for drinks order to be taken and slow for drinks to arrive, the waiter did apologise. The tables were a little close together. The food however was lovely and in fact we have booked a table again this week to try something else of the menu.

We came across this food van at Party in the Park, Christchurch on New Years Eve. The van can be found at The Commons, Christchurch during weekdays or Lyttelton Farmers Market on Saturdays. The van served up some delicious and authentic Himalayan/Indian cuisine, including Daal, Lamb curry, rice, pickle and yoghurt. Despite it being a food van the food was lovingly prepared, delicious and at a reasonable price.

SUPER is a restaurant.
This historical old pub has been totally rejuvenated as a stylish gastropub which still retains much of itâs ambience and character. It offers a most varied, highly creative contemporary menu with inclusion of some Japanese dishes and even includes sake as a beverage option. Staff are most friendly and table service is excellent. Our group of 4 adults and one young child enjoyed a fine brunch. Food was extremely well presented and highly flavoursome. The coffee was superb and the barista has flair. Toilets were very clean and maintained to a high standard. This establishment makes a wonderful destination for relaxed and enjoyable dining with the accompaniment of a fine selection of drinks.
