Golden China is da BOMB! Their food is unlike any other Chinese food I have ever had. Fresh and delicious! Their buffet is fantastic! Their take out portions are very big too! They do not use MSG, and Grace, the manager is a sweet heart!

Fine Mandarin Cuisine
The China Dragon Restaurant has the best Mandarin Cuisine ever tasted, coupled with attentive and guest oriented customer service.Note pictures of the tasteful and warmly designed dining area. The egg rolls for example are not frozen but prepared freshly on the spot. Meat and lemon chicken dishes were top notch; the group was very happy with the fresh sea food items chosen for dinner.Sophie Lu, co-owner and chef, came out to each table and visited her patrons; this was another pleasant touch to the memorable dining experience. The sesame seed covered hot dessert balls were enjoyed by all and are highly recommended for that sweet tooth satisfaction.

Only wish I had more photos, particularly of the interior! Ordered a chirashizushi, which wasnât on the menu, but itâs always my first order in a new sushi restaurant because it gives me an idea of how much pride the chef puts into their work. In this case, it came back extraordinarily unique. Smaller cuts, but perfect mouthfuls, much more variety and excellent quality, as well as beautiful presentation. On that last note, before we even set foot in the building, this restaurant felt like we were back in Japan, in a very fine neighborhood establishment...which it is! Inside, it is carefully appointed, with considerable thought given to each part of the customerâs experience. If friends who live here had not brought us, I never would have believed this lovely gem was available outside Japan. Just charmingly authentic and outstanding. Bravo!

The best thing about Thai Elephant is that it's vegetarian friendly. Mock duck is available for many dishes, all of which are reasonably priced if you're vacationing on a shoestring. Portions are large. The second best thing is the friendly and attentive wait staff. Great job, guys! You really impressed me, especially the time you took to explain what goes into preparing the various dishes. Enjoyed the low-key ambiance of this local eatery and would definitely return if visiting Morro Bay again. Lack of loud music a big plus.

Never have I ever eaten Thai food in a beach town but I'm glad I did in this case. We were a little hesitant to eat here because we weren't sure about the whole Cuban/Thai sharing restaurant concept, but the Thai food was great. I had a wide noodle dish medium heat with the pork and vegetables and it was delicious! My husband had the pad Thai and after a long day of hiking he ate almost the entire plate. Portions are generous and the price is fair for the amount of food you get. They had canned soda which I appreciated because soda always tastes funny in a beach town and the Thai iced tea was traditional and good. I would eat here again.
This spot has received a major re-model but still in the same family ownership. Chinese cuisine is not prevalent in the area and this is not gourmet but they do have some good dishes depending on your taste. We like spice and the Hot & Sour soup will bring sweat to your brow along with the Kung Pao offerings. They have beer and wine at reasonable prices and the service is good.

This location down the street from Noi's is open Thursday through Monday with some excellent choices. The new name is Noi & Doi's 2nd Street Cafe! They have great daily specials along with the Tom Kha Pla Thai coconut soup. All the shrimp, seafood combo and the tuna melt is excellent. This is a nice change of pace especially when the weather is nice since the seating is limited. Otherwise order to go!

The food here is always fresh and tasty and with the right amount of heat- you can specify mild, medium or hot. The pad thai is delicious and so are the veggie and chicken dishes with basil or garlic or whichever option you choose. We get food here about every other week and are never disappointed. There are a few tables but we always get take out because we live near by.

Took my friends up to see the Elephant Rookery by Hearst Castle for the weekend and stopped by Kuma to have warm soup for dinner. We all chose the ramen soup with different broth and toppings. Needless to say the soup was yummy! Our broths were full of flavor, the noodles were done just right and the toppings took it to the next level. Will definitely be back when weâre in town again!

Thai food made right in front of you! You know it's fresh ingredients and it's ALWAYS delicious. You do have to stand in line to place your order and wait for it to be ready. Tables are available on site, but there is not service. Mostly ALL outside tables too, so can get a little chilly. There is something about their Pad Thai - beats anywhere I've ever had Thai food. So pleased they are close and in our neighborhood!
