Seeing as I've spent my fair share of time in Thailand I can appreciate some good authentic thai cuisine. I ordered off the lunch menu the Tom Kha, which is a thai coconut hot and sour soup and it was delicious. Served with a side of rice. I also had the potstickers which were just as yummy. Lunch specials are $10.95 and service is quick incase you gotta get back to work fast. They do to go orders and the customer service was good. It's definitely worth a stop if your in the area.
I was hoping to be blown away by some great stir fry BBQ but it just didn't happen. First select your ingredients VERY thin meats that disappear in cooking process, yes you can add as much as you want but geez you can see through this stuff and the veggies overwhelm. The circulating hostesses seem like food police interested in watching diners plates rather than refilling drinks, I wondered do they think customers will try to take the all you can eat food home? A bit off putting, probably won't return.

There are several Asian buffets in this region, this one is my first choice. Once seated you serve yourself. There is a large variety of different foods from China & Japan along with a mix of American items. My favorites include barbecue Pork, Chow Fun noodles, Sushi, Teriyaki Chicken sticks, Hot & Sour Soup, the list goes on & on. These are usually out on one of the 5 tables. Items are frequently replaced as necessary. For non Asian food lovers you'll find pizza, sausage, baked fish, lots of fruit, & of course there's a desert table for everyone. There is a slightly more expensive Sunday Brunch. During the week a "Senior" lunch is under $10.00.

Finally a Chinese restaurant in the Sacramento area that serves something besides bland and cloyingly sweet dishes! Really good food, and if you want something a bit less Americanized, ask for the Sichuan menu. We have never had a bad meal here. David and the rest of the staff are always very friendly and courteous. Easy access to and from Interstate 80 at the Rocklin Road exit. The spicy fish with roasted garlic is one of our favorites, but it provides only one example of the elevated level of hot-and-spicy that aficionados can find here. All you have to do is ask!

A week earlier, four of us went to Kenro's in Roseville. We decided to compare it to Tokyo Dori in nearby Rocklin. Alas, no comparison.First, Tokyo Dori does not offer a variety of Bento Box combinations. Next, the food is a big step down from Kenro and I blame it on the chef. Our table ordered California Roll, Sesame Chicken and other standards. None of us voted Tokyo Dori's selections higher than Kenro. My chicken was dry and tough.I did like the white rice because it stuck together enough to enable consumption with chopsticks. Otherwise, it was just pro forma white rice begging for a sauce to flavor it. Yes, I know that white rice is usually consumed with a sauce. My wife always orders the rice to put in her bowl of miso. She rated the miso here as weak and disappointing. Her entree was also a soup (Udon) and she thought it average. There are lots of sushi maki choices and since we did not order any, it's impossible to offer comment. Maybe the sushi is the way to go here.Although we visited during the dinner hour, the restaurant had few patrons. The traffic increased a bit as we departed.

We have visited this restaurant so many time since it opened and Fat City in Sacramento... Alway consistently great food and service. Sometimes there is a wait for a table, but that is because they are good! Lots of variety and something for everyone.

After watching a movie, my friends and I decided to have lunch at Mikuni in Roseville. In spite of the many diners waiting, it didn't take us long to get seated. The receptionists were very friendly and polite. The food was excellent!

So far my favorite Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The food tastes so authentic, and pleasantly made to order. I can't handle foods that are too spicy, so they "dummy" it down for me. If you want a nice quiet dinner though, you may want to call ahead and see if their live music is playing. That is about the only problem I have with this restaurant.

If you are looking for a very casual Chinese restaurant with a wide menu selection for any type of Chinese food you may have a taste for, then I would highly recommend Loomis Chinese Restaurant. The pot stickers had a real kick to them and the egg rolls were so good, for my main entree I had Kung Pao Chicken and requested all white meat, I was not disappointed. They have a nice selection of beverages as well. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating.

LOVED the food!!! Ginger salad was soooo good!! We ordered pot stickers which were very good. We had coconut chicken, Thai basil chicken, garlic shrimp, basmati rice, and all was delicious. They do need st least one more waitress for sure. We will definitely eat here often. The only reason I donât rate this place a five star is not enough service staff.
