Friendly little restaurnts
After several hours wearing ourselves out at Scenic World & getting cold, we'd returned to Katoomba Town Centre to eat and we fancied some Asian food (noodles/rice/soup, to warm up)Originally, we were looking at the restaurant next door, but it looked grimy & not so nice, so we chose Boss Noodles. What an excellent choice!.Although it was empty, the staff gave us a pick of tables, and we chose one just across from the heater to warm us up.The menu was diverse and comprehensive, with a great selection of starters, mains & desserts. We opted for Mains, as we needed warmth & food. We were served Lemongrass Noodle Soup, with chicken & a Pad Thai, with chicken. We've been lucky enough to have traveled extensively & eaten Thai food in some of the most authentic locations, including Thailand, but this food was way up there with the very, very best. Probably within the top 3 best meals we'd ever had anywhere in the world. The ingredients were all super fresh, the taste was exquisite, the aroma just right, the compliment of chicken perfectly cooked and of superb quality. It was all, just perfect. The cost wasn't inhibitive either and was very, very good value. After eating and relaxing, we talked to the other for a while and she was charming, authentic and very, very nice. The passion she has for Thai culture comes through in her cooking and it's clearly a family affair, as her Mum popped her head out too.We can't recommend this place highly enough and you won't be disappointed.

we went there on Australia day. Generally it is not too big but should be able to fit 20 ppl.The taste of sushi and set meal were great and we are satisfied with that. The only thing is that there were limited varieties. I can not find some of the types of sushi I like. otherwise it was ok.Dear customer, Because we only opened half day till 2 :30pm on Australian day , so we made limited sushi for lunch time only to avoid waste. Feel sorry for the customer who came in late afternoon. Hope you come back again in our normal trading hour.

Food was amazing and excellent value. Plenty of choice (try sate chicken sticks - best ever). So good we ate here 2 nights running. Walked in both times without a reservation, but get there early. 30 minutes later they were running a wait list to be seated. 10/10 for the staff. Friendly and efficient. This little restaurant has become one of our favourites. Highly recommend.

We drove passed this place last night and see Phoi Moi at the corner of the street. We decided to have lunch here tomorrow after our Scenic World tour. The area has a simple setup and has around 30 seats inside. Their price is reasonable. We tried fried spring roll, Phoi, dry noodles with Cripsy chicken and fried rice.Very Filling and ready to drive back to Sydney CBD.

Miss Lilianâs is full of surprises from the chefs dumpling plate, to the mixed grill, xo seafood and green chicken curry everything was amazing. To top it off the staff were attentive and genuinely wanted to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely a place to cone back to.

Visited here for takeaway dinner on our yearly visit to the mountains. I hadn't read any reviews recently but we had no dramas - takeaway food was fairly priced, tasty and experienced no dramas that others have experienced, other than confused waitstaff who were unsure if I had already paid or not but very minor complaint and they were young staff doing their best. The spicy cashew chicken and beef massaman curry were delicious. The restaurant had a nice fireplace and I would have loved to enjoy my meal there, but had kids back at the house!

We went to this restaurant tonight, our last night in Katoomba before heading back to Melbourne, it started out great at 6:20pm when we arrived. We were served quickly and we ordered our entree and drinks. All good at this point. We finished the soup and said we were ready for the main course. Meanwhile a table of four turned up (at least half an hour after us) and were very quickly served a bottle of red wine.We waited, and watched the late table of four served up their main course. Sometime later a second main course, and fifteen minutes later another main course. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so we hoped our meal wasn't too far away. We were sadly mistaken.Meanwhile another table of three arrived and within ten minutes had their main meal on the table. By now we were pretty hungry and cranky. We asked where our meal was. The waitress walked away and returned saying there was a mix up and the table of four had our meal. We found this a bit strange, as what they had in their table was not what we'd ordered, all three seperate servings. We looked about the restaurant and saw three other tables also in the same situation as us. Waiting, as the table of four were given preferential treatment/service over us. It became obvious the staff knew these people as they were taking happy snaps while we still waited for our meal of one main course and rice.We eventually got our meal at 7:30 after complaining about the preferential treatment of one table to the detriment of service to three other tables of customers. We were offered a free glass of wine, fortune cookies but, too little too late. No thank you. Something needs to be done about the service offered. All paying customers should be treated with equal respect and standard of service, no matter what race, gender or religion you are. We're still pretty upset and disappointed about the discrimination we experienced tonight.

Located at the top of Katoomba Street near the train station, this popular local cafe offers a variety of quality food at reasonable prices. Whilst modern and traditional Asian cuisine is the speciality, old Aussie favourites are also on offer (lunch only
Our experience through the night was wonderful! The food came quickly in a short amount of time in just within 10-15 minutes of 4 main dishes and 2 entrees which were all very delicious. The waitress was very warm and welcoming and provided us a very helpful guide in the variety of choices we can choose from on the menu. Prices were incredibly reasonably and were totally worth it as the portions of each main dishes can fit at least 2 people. Some other tables like us resulted in getting boxes for take away for the same reason. Loved the attentive service of the waitresses! Would be back once we're in town.

Madame Wang's Restaurant is where East meets West. A unique quirky intimate restaurant with intriguing decor and living room ambiance tucked away above an antique store at the top of Leura Mall. The menu is ecclectic with dishes from Germany, Indonesia, I
Great food and personal service. The restaurant is decorated in interesting decor loved the range of lamps and lighting. Definitely value for money

This is a really cute restaurant in the centre of town. We ordered the beef bulgolgi, the korean pancake and the rice noodles - all were delicious. Its only small so you might need to share a long table as it does fill up. Also we were there is winter and it is very drafty and had to leave our coats on - so if the team could figure out a way to keep the diners warm in winder that would be great!
