This was my first time here and we enjoyed ourselves. Now I am not a Thai food expert and not real big on coconut milk so I tend to lean toward the noodles. We had a calamari appetizer that was good. The spicy seafood soup was great and at spicy level 3 was just right for my taste. We also had Pad see-ew noodles, spicy fried rice and mango curry. All were excellent. IT a relatively small place and easy to miss when you look for it but we will be coming back. Just a little warning for non Thai experts. If they say it's spicy they are not lying. Maybe I'm just a wimp but spice level 3 was my limit. Decent prices and good service helped to seal the deal.

Wong's Golden Palace is my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Diego. They are a family owed business who have been serving La Mesa for almost 50 years. They have an extensive menu with delicious Cantonese, Mandarin and Szechuan dishes, and they also have a full bar. The servers are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with traditional Chinese decorations. Be sure to visit the koi pond!

I like Thai food. I have had it all over the world, including Australia. This place is authentic and run by Thai staff who are very friendly and courteous. The food is very healthy and light, but you can get it as spicy as you want. Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Lunch special is priced right.

We had previously eaten there a while back and decided to go to the restaurant for lunch today. The restaurant is decorated nicely and is quite spacious with numerous tables. Parking was not an issue since they are located in an area with numerous parking spots. We have always had a good experience here and the food is always tasty. We typically eat out at Asian restaurants three to four times a week and have dined at most of them. The Pho here is excellent. The broth is clear and pack full of flavor. Today we decided to order some appetizers and Pho soup for each of us. The appetizers were good. The egg rolls were delicious and cook nicely however the fried tofu was a different story. They were a little greasy and what I can only describe as floppy. They were not crispy like what we usually order. The menu itself is quite extensive and also offers Korean, Thai, and Chinese dishes. In past, remembering when they first opened, the service was always excellent and the owner always check in on his customers. To start off we were given water but we were not asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Today the service was a little lax. When the appetizers came out the server just plop them down on the table and gave me both small plates. He did not acknowledge us or say hello. In fact my partner felt as if he was ignored through out the course of the meal. I did notice that as well.Overall the food you get here is delicious but the service we received today was not good. We have eaten at smaller Vietnamese retaurant with better service. However I still will return because the food is delicious. I could have easily give this a three star rating however, I have to look back on the service we received in the past and this could have been an off day for them.
