We were staying down the hill in the Clarens section of Montreauz and accidentally stumbled across this delightful restaurant in what used to be the Clarens train station. Excellent food plus superb service. Highly recommend the green curry beef. Prices are very reasonable for Switzerland.

Overall good Thai restaurant not far from Montreux.Interior is relatively nondescript.Food is pretty good, and size of portions served is reasonable.Price is quite affordable considering you are in Switzerland.Only disagreeable surprise is that you can't pay with a card - only cash is accepted. This never makes me feel very comfortable.

Me and my family have been in Noix de Coco in Vevey several times, as always the food is very good and the price reasonable for Swiss standards. They are however becoming victims of their own success. The place is always crowded and thus the service and family atmosphere has somehow faded a bit.I still continue to recommend it to anyone in Vevey.

beautiful Asain place with a nice terrace !!! Very comfortable for everyone !!!
My wife and I both love Asian food so we were excited to find a new Vietnamese restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed with Chez Thoa. The service was very friendly in this family run restaurant which right away set it apart from many other restaurants. We had the Pho Bo, Tom Yum soup and a mixed vegetable dish. All were perfectly cooked. I have had many Tom Yum soup's over the years in various restaurants around the world and this one was one of the best. Truly authentic and great flavours. We're already planning our trip back!

A smallish place but centrally located. Basically a sushi place, I love japanese food (having lived there for a little while) but never that fussed on sushi rolls. I non sushi choices were a bit limited. I had the Yakitori, OK but not a close enough copy for me. My wife the Karage rice bowl, she enjoyed that and the sushi being served to other people looked very good. As usual in Switzerland, food is expensive and value for money is hard to get.

We always get Chinese food at least once when we travel - gives us variety and it's a cultural check. This restaurant is popular, busy, crowded, with a large menu that is easy to decipher. We ordered steamed shrimp dumplings, then chicken with mushrooms and chicken with black pepper sauce. Both came with rice. Servings were substantial and tasty. I rated this one "cheap eats" because it was cheap compared to almost all other places we ate durng 3 weeks in Switzerland - still 18 CHF per meal..

Remarkably well located in Montreux, close to the shores of Lake Geneva and only a few minutes from the Casino and the Chateau de Chillon. The Huit Sushi Restaurant has become over the years a must for lovers of good sushi and Japanese cuisine and Korean.
The food was average but i made a mistake to ask for help to charge my phone.Stressed staff wouldnt help me because its banned by management and management made it clear that helping a customer was not a priority for them.Did not appreciate the attitude.

What a gift to chance upon this intimate little Thai restaurant two blocks north of The Fork and The Alimentarium. The menu is only in French but all the Thai favs are there: Pad Thai, spring rolls, pot stickers, panko shrimp...yes! Best to skip the (kind of dry) fried rice. No soy sauce, tofu, Thai iced coffee/tea or jasmine teaâ-but the food is great. Order and pay at the counter then choose your seat and they bring it to the table. Good stuff. Friendly staff.

We were 12 people including kids on New Year's Eve. The owner didn't insist on a fixed menu. The owner managed to arrange a big table in this small but nicely decorated restaurant. He was very patient and efficient and recommended the best dishes suitable for everyone. Most dishes were very good and some even excellent. The price was reasonable. Everything was clean. We enjoyed ourselves a lot!
