They have light or heavy soup bases for you to choose and it suits me as I donât usually like the oily Japanese ramen base. The oysters are huge and itâs good value for money. The fish sauce taste base is a bit tasteless. Maybe Japanese are better at making thick soup base.

My family and I from Singapore were staying at the La Vista Akangawa (5 min drive away). We were glad to have chanced upon this prized find near Lake Akan. They had an English menu which made it easy for us to order our food as we were not conversant in Japanese. Their grilled dear meat and fried chicken are certainly worth a try. We also ordered a platter of fresh sashimi (6 kinds), robata grilled squid, mushrooms, chicken and pork. Being a family run business, the owner and her daughter were very hospitable, and made every effort to ensure we had a great meal. Thank you!

Had the miso ramen and gyoza. Equally as good as any I have had in Japan. Only Japanese menu but pictures and a little English spoken by the friendly lady who served us got us just what we wanted. Left completely satisfied. Highly recommended!!
