Don't be put off by the pictures on here as it looks nothing like them We have been on koh mak island for 5 days and been in here 4 times already. The air con is a refreshing welcome, but you are then greeted every time by big smiles and a bowl of the yummiest popcorn I have ever tasted "on the house" which gets refilled as soon as its empty! The coffee is delicious but the best thing is the passions fruit mojito, I have drunk many monitors in my time not none come close to this Don't miss this little gem whilst you are on the island.

The quintessential tourist trap. Like all such dives, this place boasts an impressive front-facing chalkboard promising passers-by a gastronomic experience to remember. And remember is exactly what those enticed inward by this fiction will do. Theyâll remember the small portions. Theyâll remember the slow service. Theyâll remember that most of the advertised dishes arenât actually available. And, above all, theyâll remember the manager going table to table pretending not to know that those dishes arenât actually available. Great method acting - but how about dishing out some truth?
We visited Thai Food Style two times over lunch, and both times the Thai food was simply amazing. In this place you get spicy food even if you look like a Westerner (you are asked how spicy you want it). The owners are very nice and welcoming. Besides Koh Mak Seafood the best food we had on the island (but much lower priced!)

We believe this newly opened restaurant offers high quality fresh food specializing in French and Thai cuisine.Outside the menu we are happy to cook on request, if possible. The nice ambiance gives a successful evening in a relaxing atmosphere overlooking
We passed this restaurant a couple of times and judging by its appearance, it looked pretty average and we werenât expecting anything special. As it was around the corner from the villa, we headed there for coffee one morning. Coffee tasted good (Iâd say European standard) and were pleasantly surprised to discover their delicious smoothies and fluffy pancakes. They sure seem to know what theyâre doing!

A northeastern man and his wife own and run this restaurant. The husband serves, the wife cooks and they make a perfect team. The food is authentic Thai - one of very few here. They will adjust chilli levels to suit. Lovey atmosphere too. I can thoroughly recommend.

nice place, midrange kitchen prices, you have to ask for prices in advance to avoid surprisings - like for my pasta i had been offered parmesan cheese which had been billed with an extra 20 baht - the closeby gym is compare to the mainland with 59 baht and here 150 baht expensive.

This was probably our favourite place of all the places on the island. Staff is really friendly and we had the best massaman curry of our 4 week trip in Thailand here!! Try the massaman with roti (a flat bread) - you will not regret!! We came back for a second time and will come back again before we leave.

We enjoyed some great seafood at this restaurant and would certainly go back for more. The huge prawns we had were well cooked and tasty. That came at a premium of 275 baht per but was definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.
