The food was good and came out quickly. Strange not to see any pork on the menu though. I liked the way that the plates of food were set on little heated trays on the table to keep the food warm. Also the plates were delivered warm to the table.Pricing was reasonable especially for a tourist town such as this.

There were hardly any ingredients. It was just a tub of sauce with a few prawns and a very small bit of limp cabbage. When I phoned as a courtesy to let them know that this isn't good customer service, the lady said there was nothing they could do unless I brought it back to them and that nobody had ever complained before and they put lots of veg in the curry. I am hardly going to bring a rubbish 'curry' into town when the reason I ordered a delivery in the first place was so I wouldn't have to go into town. And I was not lying about the veg. Why would I phone if I wasn't insulted that I'd have to pay for a tub of sauce with little or no nutrition? I would have made far nicer myself. And that's what I'll be doing in future.
This is an excellent Chinese hidden off the Main Street. I haven't had a Chinese meal in years and often find Chinese meals quite heavy. My meal was cooked to perfection and rice was perfect. Service was super and wine very very reasonably priced. Worth a stop in Graig!

We picked this place without having read any reviews, but were very happy we walked in.We were the only people in there, so got their full attention. We ordered the early bird menu - starter, main, rice. We had samosas to start, then chicken and veg curries for main, with rice, plus I ordered a peshwari naan to share. Plus soft drinks (they don't sell any alcohol anyway). The food was absolutely amazing. We spent a week in Ireland and this was hands down the best meal we had. We'd also been to a much higher ranked Indian restaurant in KK the night after, but it was nowhere near as good as here.

Authentic Indian restaurant in Thomastown, Kilkenny
Travelling around Ireland from Wales with two Dutch friends ,came across this restaurant by chance. The food compared favourably with restaurants where we live near Cardiff with a vast choice . The waiter was exceptionally pleasant. Very helpful with accommodating our choice of food . A real gem and a pleasurable evening . Not too expensive would recommend it to locals to try and anyone passing through to stop off there for food .

A good menu to select from, Reminding me of our trips to Thialand. With a group of 12, they served the food at the same time which isn't always thh case in other establishments. Prices slightly higher, but everything tasted great. Would have liked draft beer, but again Asian bottled beer served to keep with the Asian theme.

I came here on Friday night I was the only one in the Restaurant. The phone was busy for take away orderes and people were coming in to place orders too.I ordered from the early bird menu which runs until 9pm on Friday â¬18.95 for two courses not sure what the three course was! I ordered a bottle of Cobra and it took forever to be brought over considering I was the only person in the restaurant, I didn't get it!I ordered chicken for my starter it is pictured below the salad was pitiful icebery lettuce leaves and soggy tomato. The chicken tasted as if it was cooked the day before and then was microwaved too long. I didn't complain just ate it and hoped course two would be better. The dish arrived and looked promising I ordered a Bhuna it was extremely bland tasted of nothing I had two spoonfuls and I called the waiter over he took it back and asked if I'd like something else I probably should have just left at that point but I was tired and hungry. He suggested I get a Balti so I did and was extremely apologetic. My balti arrived it was a little bit better. The staff were lovely and very helpful. If I am honest it is not value for money as the starter was pathetic. I wouldn't dine here again. It has awards on the wall outside but not sure what was going on was it a new chef, were they down staff or what.Value for money if the food was good its great value, but the food I got was not worth â¬18.95.It would be able to take a group it is a big restaurant. Maybe for an event. But the food was a let down.On a date I would not be impressed.

I'm still looking for that knockout indian restaurant and i'm afraid to say that this one didn't live up to it's billing. Don't get me wrong , food is average to good, service the same and pricewise it's very reasonable ....it just isn't all that memorable.
