Reviews on Asian food in Khandala, Lonavala, Maharashtra. Khandala is one of the twin hill stations located near to each other, the other being Lonavala. These hill stations are very popular getaway spots for people from Mumbai and Pune, which are very well-linked with Lonavala by road and rail. Monsoons are the best time to visit Lonavala/Khandala.

Ordered the Paneer combo that came with 10/10 paneer tikka . Rotis ( a bit chewy) and the dal Makhani though were not at all hot and perhaps straight from the buffet dinner. For one person , the young waiter got 2 portions of which one was taken back . Was offered a complimentary dessert by the polite waiter Anil to make up for the slight goof up . Will return with family/ friends and hope for a better experience next time around Dear GuestThank you for taking time to comment on TripAdvisor .Your feedback helps us realign our focus on exceeding guest expectations . The Square, is the hotel's signature all day dining restaurant, featuring a buffet selection of Indian and international favourites and freshly prepared dishes at its live cooking stations as well as exciting a-la-carte options including North Indian, Sou
A perfect destination for an exciting family gateway, located right next to Adlabs Imagica and Aqua Imagica, Novotel Imagica Khopoli is an absolute must visit with its impeccable service, wonderful hospitality and delicious food.A blend of a resort and a hotel, this place is full of positive vibes! As you enter youâre greeted by the ever smiling staff, a classy Buddha fountain, a well lit lobby and colourful charecters that will excite the child in you. From tubby to Pinnochio let your children be enchanted by them!We had a lip smacking lunch buffet at The Square which has also recently started with a heartwarming Sunday brunch.âThe Squareâ is the 24 hour all day dining restaurant which serves a wide multi cuisine spread of food with everything from Indian to Italian to Chinese! The ambiance of the square will delight you with its bright colors, fabric ceiling lamps and spacious seating.Youâll be spoilt for choice from their large spread of salads, appetizers, mains and desserts. With live counters for pizzas and pastas, gourmet desserts that will satisfy your sweet tooth and beautifully made sabzis that will tantalise your tastebuds, this is one heartwarming brunch. In fact while you have a delicious breakfast of freshly baked breads, beans, dosas, pancakes, cupcakes, toasts and anything you can imagine, youâll get to witness the iconic Imagica parade which is an exciting and eye catching parade of our childhood favorite characters dancing to the Imagica song! The kids will love it!The lunch spread too has everything you can imagine. Lonavla restaurant has been badly hit by the ruling preventing sale of alcohol near highways, there are hardly any patrons and so every thing is cooked upon order. The kebabs we ordered took 45 mins to arrive, the staff is very courteous and the food taste was good.

We have visited The Dukeâs Retreat twice, and on both occasions had been there to have lunch at The Duchess restaurant! Itâs easy to locate and slightly outside Khandala. With ample parking space and valet parking, arriving at Dukeâs Retreat is a breeze! The first thing you notice is the stunning view of the Western Ghats from its roof top! You literally have a panoramic view of the entire Khandala section overseeing the express way beneath! This is truly a view to kill and makes you happy upon arrival! The restaurant Duchess, is a nice modern place overlooking the ghats again, if you manage the 4-5 window facing tables! Theyâre always in demand and it doesnât require advanced reservations! Once youâve had a valley facing table, the food only complements the stunning view! We have found the waiting attentive and the staff very warm and welcoming! The restaurant though only serves buffet at lunch (900 bucks/pax)! Itâs a decent spread of Indian and continental and suits all palates! I particularly find the combination of Mint Pulao and Mutton, just amazing! The deserts are decent as well! Special mention of Mr. Purnendu and Mr. Manas who took good care of our meal. The hotel seems to have a good occupancy rate as we were there during the holidays seasons and keep the review of the hotel due, after a stay only.Overall a nice, quiet place to go for a weekend drive and have a leisurely good lunch, with family and friends! Do try it over!

Overbilled me without informing me of the fact that the ordered item will be charged double of price mentioned in menu card. Did not even admit their mistake or did not even say sorry. It is unfortunate that such good restaurants are following such unethical practices. Sad reality of today. (The restaurant will ofcourse deny it and will do its best possible to malign the reviewer, but that is what happens when any restaurant/hotel/any goods or service provider gets exposed for its bad practices).
