Maybe I shouldn't give my review because I'm not an expert on authentic Cantonese food but my review is my overall impression. Not very friendly service, not the cleanest looking place. We ordered won ton soup and Shrimp with lobster sauce and neither were very good. We were not satisfied with the wait staff, they got annoyed every time we asked for something (like a straw for our drinks, or more duck sauce) so our overall personal opinion, it is not recommended.
She likes she sushi. I had another dish teriyaki chicken. Service needs a little improvement. Not so happy with the teriyaki. Pictures do not match meal. Otherwise I guess ok.

The restaurant is simple, but kept clean. The wait staff is polite and keeps things cleared often. The food selection was pretty good, including Sushi, hot Chinese and American appetizers, entrees and desserts. I went here once recently for lunch and a second time with family for dinner. The prices are fair for the selections and quality offered. Each time the food trays were kept with a fresh supply coming from the kitchen.

I read many reviews be going. One guy expected service and was angry for not getting any. He probably did not hear that "when in Rome, speak Italian". It start that you better know what to order. On Saturday night no one has the time to explain anything. We sat down. We got a menu with a pen. We marked the dishes we wanted; Vegtable soup, Vegtable dompling and spicy Wanton. Food arrived quickly and was eaten quickly. Delicious, delicious, delicious. $20+4 tip. Good bye. As said no nonsense food.

We enjoyed Sunday dinner with our friends at this lovely Pan-Asian restaurant. Decorations and cleanliness are top drawer. Host and wait staff were excellent, courteous and attentive. I enjoyed three different Sushi rolls and also tasted some Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura. My meal came with a small salad and Miso Soup. Everything I had tasted delicious. I also ordered a side of the Spicy Mayo (excellent - don't miss it).Quantities are plentiful and the food is fresh and well prepared. The menu has Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Teriyaki, Thai Curry, Hibachi, Noodles and Rice dishes. Two at our table had the Noodle Soup Entrees that came with large noodle soup and an equally large portion of tempura (shrimp and veges). The restaurant is a BYOB.I highly recommend this restaurant for it's authentic and tasty food and great service.

Please Google Ganga Asian Bistro, Matawan, Nj
Wound up at Ganga by serendipity and could not have had a better, more delicious time. It started with Maggie who is an excellent, informative server, had great recommendations and was perfectly attentive. We had an exceptionally luscious Ganga Style Duck Roll appetizer followed with Classic Fried Rice with Omelette Pouch and an off menu Udon noodles with vegetables and Tofu. If ever I wanted to identify what "umami" meant as a delectable savoriness it was in all these dishes. As a taste sensation, I could not recommend this restaurant enough.
I ordered figuring in an hour wait. I placed a specialty order not knowing if they would accomodate. Jumbo shrimp with garlic, ginger and scallions. Brocoli with garlic sauce, and chicken with red curry sauce. The food was delivered sooner than I had expected. The Shrimps were tender and flavorful, the chicken and red curry was excellent! And the Brocoli was plentiful with just enough crunch. I was sooo happy with my Dinner, called to Thank them!!! Can't imagine the food would be any better in a four star restaurant!! Good going!

Going downhill in a small strip mall with most stores vacant and Fuji will be next. Reservation not respected...had to wait with large party. Only one hibachi chef worked two 20 person tables, half at a time (after seated advised 2nd chef did not show up). Chef arrived at table an hour and a half after being seated. Rookie chef tried hard but was obviously inexperienced , first misplacing the individual cooking orders, then cooking one item at a time, taking forever. No apologies, no discounts...just an 18% mandatory lg party tip. Avoid at all costs.

First time here, in addition to the dining room they have an outdoor deck with a bay view. Friendly and professional servers, broad menu from sushi to Chinese and Asian fusion. I had the Asian grilled salmon, one of the pricier options, which was excellent. Our medium size group averaged about $20/ person + tip, very reasonable. No beer or wine, but you can probably bring your own. Some parking in back, plus the free municipal parking lot.
