Had a couple of cups of coffee, as I essentially had stop-over at this place, this place made for a nice pit stop

Went there for breakfast as it said it had Roti Canai (it didn't). Ordered a honey pancake and a coffee with milk. I was aware the service is slow everywhere in Taman Negara so wasn't expecting much. However my coffee took half an hour to arrive (without milk when I asked for it with). I waited 50 minutes for my food but then just had to leave as I had a bus to catch. She didn't make me pay for it at least! But yeah, don't go there if you have anywhere to be!

When we arrived here for lunch, there were 2 other occupied tables. Asked the lady for the menu but there wasn't any. We saw many pictures of various types of river fishes on the wall. So we asked the lady to recommend their house specials. And, we had sweet sour pork, steamed patin, fried paku leaves with egg and anchovies and village chicken in ginger & wine.All the food were really delicious! The fish, paku leaves and chicken in ginger & wine were really special. Fish was really fresh too. She told us the fish was freshly caught from the nearby river.The only thing we didn't like were the flies. There were loads of them hovering at our food. So, one of our hand was used fanning the flies away while we ate with the other hand. Other diners seemed unperturbed though....

The quality of the food and their service was just horrible. Just looting visitors here with the worst quality food one could offer. The staffs are pretty rude as well. Don't bother eating here if you're looking for a decent meal

Looks great from the outside, has the best position on the river bank, but food and service are the complete opposite. Better to try your luck elsewhere, we will certainly not come back.

Food are delicious, location great. Variety of food in their menu, price is reasonable. I think this will be the only restaurant we'll visit again next time.
