roses are red, violets are blue, all their food taste like gooooo sesame noodles were tasteless, no scallions, celery, carrots, seeds, nothing but gooooo and noodles. pad thai was all pink red color with only a flavor of fish sauce.no veggies, once again nothing but noodles and pink red stuff. third dish was chicken and broccoli not bad, but it was more like chicken and mixed veggies. The attraction here is it is the only place with a real dinning area, a but tired, but the only game in town.

A light rain fell throughout the morning, producing shallow pools of waters scattered along the unpaved driveway. The attached parking lot has spots for about a half dozen cars. We squeezed our car between another and a food truck owned by the restaurant. One third of the lot was filled by the restaurantâs trucks. The balance apparently taken by the employees and customers. I ask myself how a restaurant could have so little parking for customers. The convenience of the employees is apparently less important than the dinerâs experience. No other customers were in the restaurant, so it must have been all employee cars, which filled the lot.Months have passed since I last dined here. The changes are a nice touch. A tiled bar area added, along with new tables and chairs. Gone are the folding tables and chairs I had last experienced. The ten-foot step ladder behind the bar, however, did little to boost the ambiance.No one greeted us, so we wandered over to a table and sat down. When someone did come through the kitchen door, we asked if we should just get plates and start. We were given the go ahead.The waiter mentioned having omelets available, but never came to ask if we wanted any.The âSpicy Fish Chowderâ label caught my eye, so I tried that to start. It was in the third soup container, well beyond my reach. Luckily, an employee was nearby and I hailed him. There were no pieces of fish in the chowder, just little threads of fish glued together with a bit too much salt.A giant turkey drumstick sat plopped on top of some sliced turkey, which had long since dried beyond the point at which it was acceptable. Turkey mole filled the adjoining tray, and it held no appeal to me at all, but my partner said it wasnât bad.I opted for what turned out to be a cold chili relleno. The greasy breading fell off the cold hard cheese, but I was able to eat some of it. The cold enchilada, though somehow seeming consistent with other offerings, offered no enjoyment. Hoping for a dessert to save the meal, I tried the mincemeat pie. While it tasted okay, it was not enough to save the experience.While dining I noticed the lack of music. All that could be heard throughout the meal was the kitchen staff, and possibly the waiter, talking on their cell phones. Iâm sure this was the case because the waiter passed us several times with the phone hanging off his ear. It would have been nice if he could have put it down long enough to take our order, or ask if everything was okay.Iâve dined here in the past, and always had hopes that things would improve. There was always an apparent love for what they were doing. That love seems to have washed away, though I donât believe it was a result of todayâs rain.Dear Richard,We really appreciate your having taken the time to write and share the problems you encountered at Micosta Restaurant since we always strive to give our customers an exceptionally good dining experience. I was out of town and had the staff that has been helping to build our business cover in the restaurant. Obviously they did not perform to our standards and we apologize for that.All company and staff vehicles are supposed to be parked outside of the close parking area, which would have given you a comfortable place to park. As you noticed, we have been working to make the dining area attractive and comfortable for our guests including a television system that normally has soft, relaxing music. Our policy is to greet customers and to bring water to your table along with a short order menu with options that can be prepared for you in addition to the buffet.We are still working to improve how food is served in the buffet, and apologize for the problems you found there. Folks who wait on you are supposed to be attentive and help you to find everything you might want conveniently. Some of the food is kept chilled so that it does not become damaged by the constant heat of the steam table. The food intended to be heated at customer request. As for the quality of the food that day, it appears that our standard was not met. We will strive to emphasize the importance of maintaining quality so this problem will not occur again.

I had eaten once in Hudson at a French restaurant, but driving Warren Street in traffic, we settled on the Wasabi at the top of Warren. Grand-daughter had been learning about a Japanese Theater method done without language. We talked about this but at the Wasabi our entire order was accepted, served and payment made here without the waiter speaking. Not complaining. The sushi was fresh as was the ginger with plenty of wasabi. We ate the misho slowly to input the raw enzymes before the sushi and broccoli tempura. Other patrons were international and college students. I was amused with the bottles hung from the ceiling to pick like a menu, done without words and confusion in wrong order.

We were a party of 6-large age range and had a dog with us. we had a late supper in the outside area. the place is fun. food is varied-they bring out various Asian small plate sized items in take out containers which was a great way to serve the food outdoors. we tried the Mezcal slushy.. not a lot of vegetarian options to choose from on the menu but I enjoyed the chilled sesame noodles and tiger salad. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively but not too noisy for conversation since the tables are well spaced. would definitely return.

Service was great as were the appetizers crab cakes, Vietnam salad, Brussels sprouts) and the cocktails. Entrees were just ok. The âhalf chickenâ was more like a capon. Very small, offset by too much rice and sautéed greens. The noodle dish was also disappointing. If I go back will just do apps. Portions are very large. Also, got put at a table right next to the door on a cold evening and was told no other tables available. Be sure to ask for the back room
