Sehr lecker ... Wir sollten beim nächsten Besuch in Hennigsdorf doch mal nachfragen, was den einzigartigen Geschmack ausmacht ...Wir kommen wieder!

We (5 adults) were first time visitors on a busy Sunday evening (pre-booking essential for weekends). The décor is lovely, staff are very attentive & look beautiful in their traditional outfit. Excellent choices in the huge menu (takes ages to settle for one dish), very good wine list, also some particularly suited to the cuisine here. And they have Bitburger Pils on draft plus plenty of after dinner drinks. Differently spiced dishes can be altered if too spicy is not your thing. All food (we had 5 different starters & mains) was beautifully presented (with flowers & carved vegetable deco) and delectable. Very highly recommended if you are in the vicinity of the district of Tegel.

This restaurant offers two Asian menus. There is sushi and thai - both were unconvincingThe service was very nice
This restaurant was great! The staff was very nice and attentive, aswell as they spoke fluent English. The food was very good, and the restaurant is easy to get too. I can only suggest this place to other people. By the way, it is in the center of Frohnau, Berlin, which means, that you can have a great look at this beautiful "Garden City".

When we visit my family in Berlin we typically make sure we stop by. The restaurant is close to Hermsdorf (S-Bahn) station and also offers take out of equally high quality. At Gaideck all starts with premium quality fish. The locals, friends of my family, buy their fish here regularly. This time around we had late night take out, shortly before the place closed on Saturday and a family dinner on Sunday night. Both occasions were an excellent experience as expected. If you want to get the best of the fish quality choose any of the Sashimi dishes. Restaurant is in an unspectacular spot on the main shopping street (Heinsestrasse). But make no mistake, some of the best Sushi in Tokyo is also in a subway station!

Being guest in heaven...The Himmelspagode is adapted from the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The inside and outside of the Himmelspagode captivates by its traditional Chinese architecture. Enjoy the four traditional schools of Chinese cuisine and experience
Although Himmels Pagoda is about a 45 minute drive outside of Berlin, it seems it attracts local Berliners as well as tourists. We were taken there by a relative who lives in Berlin because he thought we would enjoy it. Reservations are a must; the restaurant is always busy. From what we were told, everything in the restaurant was brought from China to preserve the integrity of the very impressive and very large physical structure. (Have your cameras ready.) Everyone in our group ordered something different from an enormous menu of Asian food. (No one ordered the buffet so I cannot comment on it.) Our food was generally very good with the exception of one meal which someone in our party described as "just OK." The real "draw" of the restaurant is the architecture and the very large menu. I am a vegetarian and had no trouble finding several appropriate meals to choose from. A trip to this restaurant is for the experience of seeing it and saying you ate there.
