Just opened in January. They have another location in Destrehan, La.
When here on a Tuesday night and this is a great place to go at any time but the crowds are light and the food was great and fresh in the wait staff was very attentive to our table never letting a piece of trash or paper on our table for any length of time always quick to remove it and make sure that we have a nice neat clean place to eat our dinner as a family. Thank you so much and I always enjoy our time there

Odd location tells the history of the neighborhood roots of this Chinese restaurant. Long history of quality, authentic dishes, many not available at newer, quick stop Chinese locations. Take your time to study the menu and order items that may be new to you.

So far I haven't met a dish I didn't "mmmm" over. The lettuce wraps are so flavorful , the Lemongrass wings are a good balance of spicy to sweet with crispy, the Pho is so large I had leftovers for lunch the next day and my favorite Boba is "Its all nutty" a creamy blend of pineapple and coconut. Our server was exceptional. She anticipated every want.

I grew up with the owner's son so I've been going to Kyoto the original location (on Prytania) and this location on Citrus for many years.Kyoto isn't the most amazing sushi restaurant in the world (or New Orleans for that matter) but it is consistently good and pretty fairly priced. They have a great sashimi dinner and I love their noodle salad.During lunch time, they have a sushi roll combo that comes with your choice of two rolls (I think there are 5 to chose from including snow crab roll, tuna and avocado roll, California roll and spicy tuna roll) a small salad with ginger dressing and miso soup all for under $9 with tax. That is a pretty good deal for lunch and there is usually enough to through in the fridge and eat later.Again, their offering of sushi isn't anything too exotic or crazy but they do a nice job with the basics and have good quality fish and some decent rolls to chose from.

While driving back to home from New Orleans airport, I took a detour and had my late dinner here. It's a small humble place . Most of the people take carry out. I had a sitting dinner there. They have a relatively large menu. I did not find any papaya salad ( I was wishing for it). The steamed shrimp shumai was tasty. The yellow lamb curry was great. Enjoyed my quick short dinner. Nice place to eat.

We both ordered grilled pork dishes--bun (the noodle salad) for me and with rice for my husband. The pork was oddly colored, reddish orange, and pretty chewy though nicely flavored. I was also underwhelmed by the rest of the salad, just a little chopped iceberg lettuce, a sprinkle of peanuts, lots and lots of noodles. I've had this dish many times, and this was the most lackluster version I think I've ever had. The fried egg rolls and fresh spring rolls were good. Service was excellent and extremely friendly. Prices were pretty good. But there are so many good Vietnamese restaurants in the New Orleans metropolitan area that we likely won't return.
