I worked in Thailand for over one year and really miss how the food tasted there compared to the restaurants in the states. I must say the food at Sweetie Thai is much closer to the real Thai food than any place else I've tried in Grand Rapids. I was very happy to see that sticky rice is on the menu to accompany the northeaster style Green Papaya and Nau Nam Tok (Beef) salads. Their pork skewers with peanut sauce whisked my memories back to the street vendors of Bangkok. Topped the meal off with there sticky rice and mango desert. I will definitely be coming back soon. The restaurant is small. I believe they focus more on take out as everything is served in throw away containers. Highly recommended for the authentic flavor.

Some friends loved this place, other just said "meh" so we thought we'd try it ourselves. We went for an early dinner and were warmly greeted upon entering. As we perused the cafeteria-style display of entrees we were asked if we wanted to sample any of them before ordering--great idea, PE! Many common asian dishes with chicken, beef and shrimp. A bowl with one side, such as white or fried rice, noodles or veggies, with one entree goes for a little over $6, 2 entrees with 1 side is a little over $7 and a bigger plate with 3 entres and 1 side goes for almost $9. The bowl was ample enough for a dinner meal. We tried the orange chicken and the angus steak. Chicken was highly battered in a sweet citrusy sauce and steak was tender and slightly spicy. We liked both over our fried rice but wished more sauce was served with the entree. The place also serves a few appetizers such as eggrolls and potstickers, but no soup. Drinks include regular sodas, a tea bar and smoothies. Conclusion: not bad for a $6 meal and would return to try another entree at another time.

Fairly good food court quality Asian dishes, mostly chicken entrees served on fried rice or lo mein noodles. Generous portions, tasty Bourbon Chicken (must be a leftover recipe from the previous tenants), Sesame chicken, egg rolls and egg drop soup. A Chinese friend really enjoyed their Spicy Chicken and Vegetable dish. The price is dependent on how many entrees and/or sides you order, either $6 or $7 for a real plateful, enough to share. Samples are free if you cannot decide what to order. Pleasant and helpful servers.
Come by your local Noodles & Company at 3871 Rivertown Parkway SW, , Grandville where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
We have eaten at this Noodles location many times and love it! Some of our favorites are Alfredo MontAmore, Butter Noodles, Tuscan Fresco, Penne Rosa, and Pesto Cavatappi. Our kids love to order the mac and cheese and ask for BBQ pork on top. That's the great thing about Noodles - you can customize your dish. Want to add meat? Great! Want to swap out spinach for tomatoes? Just ask! It's like getting quickly like at fast food, but with the taste of a sit-down restaurant, minus the tip!

Group of 5. Clean restaurant, pretty typicalJapanese steakhouse experience. Nothing too flashy. Salad was good, seemed a little heavy on dressing and watery (probably from the lettuce). The soup was different and quite honestly very salty. Noodles and rice were nice and pretty typical (but good ) yum yum sauce. We had chicken, filet, scallops and all were above average. Three different cook levels (from medium rare to medium well) on the filet and chef did them each right. Service was consistent. It did seem a little rushed as we only were eating for about 10 minutes (once main course was served) and the server was already bringing the bill and to go containers. Maybe just a little more time would make it feel less rushed. Overall it was above average and we will likely be back.

Dinners had green peppers as almost the sole vegetable; lunch was an absolutely dreadful salad. Really don't know why people like it, since none of it was good--even the spring rolls were mediocre at best.
