Never have we been so disrespected in a restaurant. The server (owner?) was a tyrant. I would never recommend this place to anyoneâ¦even if the food is goodâ¦we didn't stay long enough to find out. Worst experience I have ever had in France.Bonjour Leanne,Firstly, let me explain what actually happened because in this age of social media, it is very easy to write a review on everything!!I found your husband walking out of our toilet with a wet face when I came out of our kitchen! I asked him if both of you wanted to have a meal with us and you said 'NO'! Our toilet is not a public toilet and is only for our guests. The minimum manners you could have is to ask if you can use our toilet but instead, what your husband did was just walked in to our restaurant, use our toilet, no Hello or Thank you and just walked out!! And to my amazing surprise, you wrote a review for us!!! I am not sure how things are done in Calgary, Canada but in France, there is a minimum of respect with a Bonjour and a Merci.

This is a great wee restaurant! The owner was very friendly as soon as we entered and happy to explain the contents of the menu. We took the 23 euro menu and were delighted with the tempura battered gambas and vegetable starter, the pork gallettes starters, the calamares main course and the beef sauté main course. The banana caramelle desert was great. Each course was freshly made by the owner's wife, who is Korean. Don't expect to arrive and leave quickly. Take your time and enjoy the ambiance. We will go back to this restaurant as the food was so good! As said by others, be sure to visit the loo! It's surprisingly nice.

Sadly Lezignan-Corbieres doesn't seem to be blessed with numerous great restaurants and certainly not many offering traditional cuisine. However, given the high TA rating, we thought we would give Au Coeur de L'Asie a go after a long day sightseeing and we weren't disappointed. The serving team were great, very patient given our limited French and very helpful with trying to explain to menu. It was our first Vietnamese meal and it was great - very tasty and healthy sized portions. The beef and chicken skewers were particularly good as were the chop suey. The cost for the four of us came to 110 euros including service and a bottle each of Perrier and Domaine de Fontsainte.A really lovely meal.

We tried the takeaway following recommendations. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful guiding on dishes and heating times. We will definitely return for more excellent food and to try different dishes.
