We go to T2 Yan for their lunch specials and for dinner take-out. Their food is consistently hot, fresh, and generous. They use an excellent selection of vegetables in their dishes and are very good about special requests (I ask for no onions and they get it right for me. The lunch specials include soup, wonton, egg roll, rice or chow mien, and a main dish for a very reasonable price. I always have enough to take home for lunch the next day.

While traveling during the floods in February of 2016 we could go no further on Highway 99 so we got off the road and found this place. We were in the mood for sushi and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The bathrooms could use a little sprucing up, but were adequate. We only had rolls and nigiri, so we can not vouch for the rest of the menu. The fish was fresh and flavorful. We tried a couple specialty rolls which were great. They even made us one of our favorite a custom roll that was not on the menu and they were happy to make it for us. The wait staff was cheerful and efficient. I would definitely try this place again.

I have never seen a restaurant have a Mongolian BBQ, Standard Chinese menu, and a Bar and Grill all in one restaurant. I would imagine that you could come here and always find something that you would like to eat. We were traveling from Central California to Sacramento and the traffic got too crowded, so we thought we would stop and eat. This was a great treat in that the Sweet and Sour Soup was just right as well as the Cashew Chicken dish we ordered. Everything tasted great and was well prepared. Being Chinese I have tasted quite a bit of Chinese style food and both my wife and I felt that the food was prepared closer to Chinese standards. That could also account for the "friendliness" of the staff. Older traditional Chinese usually do not tolerate your opinions of their food or service. They KNOW how the food is to look and taste. Like other opinionated chefs, they do not usually take comments all that well, but they really know how to cook. So disregard the service and just concentrate on the taste of the food. Not everyone will like more traditional Chinese flavorings, but I for one will be looking for an excuse to pull off the road on my trips up/down the valley to come here again to try out the many other dishes that they offer.

WE have eaten in and have take out lunches and dinners many times. I have been earnestly trying everything on the menu - most recently the Volcano Chicken which was a tender grilled chicken breast with veggies. For people that are not inclined to Thai this is a great alternative. Also the crispy duck I believe that their best Thai dishes are the green curry and the pineapple fired rice or at least that is what my family is insistent on ordering every time. Note the restaurant is very popular so can be crowded sometimes but that is what happens when you have superb food.
