I was really impressed with Orange Roll and Sushi. It's very casual but don't let that fool you. I ordered the Sunset roll and a spicy tuna roll. First, these rolls are huge. The fish was super fresh and the rolls expertly crafted. The folks working there were very welcoming and we're quick to bring out food and to stop by to make sure things were good. I felt very welcome and my business appreciated. As mentioned earlier, it's pretty casual. A great place to eat but not really the kind of place to bring clients. Overall, highly recommended.
When ordering your noodles, you select the noodle shape, round, flat, triangular. Through the large glass panel, you can watch how they stretch the dough to make the noodles. Dishes are served in large bowl. The broths are flavorful. The pot stickers were on the small side so I would stay with any noodle dish.

THE RAMEN CONTINUES TO BE EXCELLENT HOWEVER WE'VE NOTICED THE AMOUNT SERVED IN THE SMALL BOWL CONTINUES TO DECREASE WHERAS THE PRICE OF THE BILL HAS INCREASED NOTICEABLY. the shave partnered with the restaurant across from them and the little jaapanese lanterns make it very homey and nice..inside the ramen place needs tables and chairs that don;t weigh a hundred pounds each and are a bit smaller so normal americans can fit and not just paul bunyan...what were these asians thinking when they put such huge aggravating furniture in?/the patio next door was somewhat nicer however they are partnering with chomp sushi next door and the such plate we ordered was horrible...not sure if chomp bought these guys out but koan has much better food than the singles bar chomp next door..one last word..they have no clue on how to sit people fast even with a dozen empty tables they only go by a list... then they take forever to serve up a bowl of soup which is almost the only thing on the menu..one would think they continuously are making it and one just needs to fill the bowls??they need some logistic help in their biz it is obvious..but the ramen still tastes good...if the sizes continue to get smaller and their prices continue to go up threes a lot of ramen places opening up in buena park which is nice and close..

I enjoyed our big celebration here at this restaurant, with all of its wonderful authentic Japanese cuisine. He reminds me of when I lived in Japan 20 years ago. The only thing I don't like is that it's kind of loud which is OK because it kind of reminds me also have the Japanese teriyaki houses.

They certainly have a large selection of exotic rolls, and the staff is very pleasant; but we found every roll was doused in an overly sweet sauce, which detracted from the flavors of the other ingredients. The Gyoza were very tasty, as was the Garlic Edamame.

Small local place that serves really good sushi. I enjoy many of the special items of the day and always like the freshness and quality of their seafood! Chirashizushi which is a dish of various sushi on a bed of rice in a huge bowl! I love getting this because it like a sampler plate in a bowl! I haven't been disappointed with the sushi here, all has been really good. Cooked foods are limited and not their specialty. I have ordered some of their combos which are fine, but not exceptional. So if you want good sushi, this is a good place to go!

The Sushi Joint (SJ) is a good place either for lunch or diner. I usually try to go once a week and have my under $10 buck lunch. Miso Soup is really quiet good, followed with a a healthy serving of seaweed salad with an interesting slightly spicy chili vinaigrette dressing. and finishing it off with a Unagi roll, with the chef's own creation of drisseled sauce with a hint of molasses.

I used to had very similar ramen to this one in Costa Mesa, which it was my favorite one..The ramen was very very good! and the place is very fast serving. Because it is a popular place so there are always customers waiting! That's a very good sign~Only the problem for me is, Fullerton is too far to just go eat ramen.. I hope I will have another chance to be in the town so I can have the ramen again!

Had the Pineapple curry with Roast Duck which was tasty and surprisingly had a lot of duck meat. We should have ordered it spicier but that was our first time there in several years. The chicken pad thai was average. Our server Pam was very attentive without being intrusive and it was a busy Friday night.

We had the $24.99 dinner buffet. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes at about 5:30 pm Saturday. Service and sides were very good. Different beef selections were all tough and some sinewy and grisly. Baby squid and shrimp were fresh, but shrimp were small. Very loud.
