Nice chinese food in the center of Fredrikstad. Very quick service, friendly staff. Not very crowded in after season during the week. Would come here again.

Although small. this small restaurant produce excellent and fresh sushi. The place is most known for take away and there is always a line. Reasonably priced. One thing I miss is a special soya mixture such and not just the plain one. There are a few tables available for guests.

We had a very nice sushi starter. The chicken cashew nut wok that my wife had was good. I had the chicken red curry, which was slightly too âketchupyâ for me, but a matter of taste I guess. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Donât expect a very cozy and warm romantic locale, but it serves its purpose as a âfood barâ.

As you enter the restaurant you are surrounded by a nice environment. Indian art decorates the walls, Indian music creates a nice mood and the friendly staff welcome you by their presence. At Mother India you may choose between meals that contain chicken,
A while since I was here. The food is still nice. Large portions. My lamb was delicious. Everything tastes authentic Indian. The staff is friendly, but not very attentive. Unable to give good advice for the dishes when asking for recommendations. I was afraid my grandmother aged 90 would find âmediumâ on her dish too spicy, but the staff assured us that it was OK. It wasnât. In fact, it was quite spicy for me as well (considering medium) â and I love spicy food and has travelled quite a few times in Asia. As before, the food is better than the overall impression. The locale is OK. A bit worn down. The menâs toilet was not clean at all, and this was quite early in the evening on a Thursday. Must be improved.

Walking along the river promenade we found thisThai restaurant situated with a panoroma view. Entering we discovered an elegant interior (look at the lamps!) and were welcomed by a charming (Lithuanian) waitress. My nephew and I ordered fish soup and this was one of the best fish soups ever! Full of giant prawns with red onions, shallot onions, lime and several delicate spices that brought out the flavour perfectly. The soup was hot and served with boiled rice - a good combination. Due to car parking limitations we didn't have time for coffee but our visit certainly gave us a taste for more. What made our meal extra enjoyable was the friendly and professional waitress and the stylish interior. I have one comment on tables and seating: the single tables are very tightly packed together so there is not much room to get past neighbouring tables. I am glad we had no-one sitting next to us. Prices were very reasonable: NOK 149 for delicious fish soup (Tom Yum Kung)

I've visited St Raw numerous times both by myself and with others. A strange feeling of inconsistency follows dishes that you would think would be the same each time, but they differ somewhat both in presentation and contents. However, taste and experience are quite outstanding, and, I think, leaves little to be desired compared to highly recommended places elsewhere in the world. St. Raw is the only place that serves Japanese-style food in town (apart from the omnipresent sushi of course) for instance from its robata grill.
