Thought you will have to be in Burnaby or Richmond to get Taiwanese style noodles? Think again! This is located in Langley! The place is bright and clean, with spacious seatings, ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and the food quality is equally surprisingly good! So if you are antique shopping around town come by for some noodles and you will not be disappointed! They only take Cash and debit card.

Felt like going out for a drive, and checked Yelp for good Pho's to try out, and ventured into Maple Ridge's Pho Song.First off, the people there are very friendly! Place is clean and tidy, small and cozy. Late lunch items we ordered:#27 Salad Rolls $6.50 2.5/5 starsThe roll is not rolled up tight enough to give a better texture when you bite into it; resulting in the roll falling apart with each bit.#11 Chin nam gas gan sach i.e. Pho with mix variety of beef cuts with tendon & tripe $10.25 3/5 starsThe broth is rich with beef and bone flavours, slightly on the sweet side, the beef cuts are average, and the Pho noodles cooked well without being too soft. Overall, not a bad bowl of Pho.#16 Mi do bien: Seafood & Egg Noodles with vegetables in soup $10.25 2.5/5 starsBasic vegetable stock, with egg noodles, mixed vegetables includes: carrots, broccoli, cabbage. Seafood: shrimps, squids, imitation crab meat. The soup was served pipping which I like very much, this will be the only time I think I will order this dish as its nothing special compare to other Pho places, where the soup base is more flavourful with a stronger flavour of the seafood.Final score: 2.66 starsVerdict: Not Recommend (if you are driving more then 3 miles to come here)

Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine has been serving some of the tastiest Thai food in the Fraser Valley since 2009. We have been voted the best Thai restaurant in Langley for the past 3 of the past 4 years and are recognized by the Thai Select organization for pro
I brought my partner here for the first time and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere is cozy and the restaurant is well decorated. We had the chicken satay, sweet & sour stir fry and the ginger beef. We also had the drunken monkey & the rainbow drinks. The food here was absolutely amazing, and the portions were huge. We wound up having to bring half of our meal home. The food is served in a way which we could share and try everything, which made for a great experience.

My wife and I had business in Maple Ridge and decided to take our daughter out for lunch as a combined business and birthday treat. Because the three of us love sushi, it was an easy decision to go to the Shinobi Sushi restaurant again. Our daughter said that it was under new management from the last time we were there but, I am glad to say that it certainly did not disappoint. We arrived at lunch time and the restaurant was busy but the service and food was very quick. We had a combination roll platter and also the Maple Ridge roll, which is to die for. The platter had rolls and sushi done in three's which was just perfect us. I feel that the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and amount of food that you receive. It was well worth the drive out to Maple Ridge and we look forward to having our next lunch at this restaurant.

Almost drove by Smile Thai Cuisine...glad we didn't. The staff were friendly and attentive--but not in a hovering way. The service was efficient and professional while being personable. The food was great. Another reviewer called this place unpretentious...great descriptor for it. I really enjoy finding places like this that a) offer great food at reasonable prices, b) offer an enjoyable customer experience (I don't need to be entertained...but feeling welcome and attended to) and c) have a feel that people (staff and customers) want to be there (not just a place to eat or a place to pick up a pay cheque).I highly recommend Smile Thai Cuisine. **as a heads up--there is parking in behind the restaurant but there is very little lighting. Can be a very dark area at night.

We would never have found this place on our own as we don't live in this area - but friends who used to live here recommended it as their "favorite sushi place" so we agreed to meet up at Noma. It's in a new mall near 208th where they have been building houses, TH, condos like mad for the past few years and has clearly become a huge hit: the Saturday night we got there a little before 6 pm: by 6:30 there wasn't an empty table, and it's a decent sized place. We were greeted by the sushi chefs and the hostess on entering, given the option of a couple tables, and brought tea and water immediately on request. Then we studied the menu...for a while...While they don't have bento boxes for dinner (yes, for lunch) it's easy to build-your-own combo from their menu. We had the Assorted Tempura which came with 14 pieces (including four prawns) as an appy. Nice presentation - excellent flavors. We all had miso soup - not much to say except that I love having a cup to start and at $1.50 that's an easy call IF you're not ordering a sushi combo (included with those).Three of us had different sushi combos - all were very generous and well prepared. One of us had chicken teriyaki instead: I tried a bite - really nicely flavored and on a bed of mung sprouts, with a side of white rice.Total bill including tax and nice tip came to under $20 per person.Really an outstanding choice!

I've dined here a few times after my initial discovery. Our lunch service was good and our sever attentive and caring. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. My lunch partner had a very tasty skewered lemon grass chicken. Wished I ordered it. I always fall back on my vermicelli bowl with veg and meat because it's so tasty and familiar.Their menu has a good variety so it's time to expand my choice of a meal. Our other diner had pho. Her favourite. It looked so savoury and warming on our cold winter day.

Several weeks ago we visited Ford Langley. Since it was early evening and we felt hungry we went for dinner to the âTokyo Gardenâ. We ordered Salmon Sashimi, Pan Fried Gyoza, Tokyo House Roll (Crab Meat, Avocado, Cucumber, Tamago, Unagi, 2 pcs Deep Fried Prawns with Salmon on Top), Takoyaki (Deep Fried Ball Shaped Batter Filled with Diced Octopus), Philadelphia Roll (Salmon, Cream Cheese, Avocado) and the Combo 2 (4 pcs California Roll, BBQ teriyaki Chicken on Rice, 3 pcs Tempura & Salad). Despite we were almost the only guest, we had to wait quite a long time to get the food served. The Gyoza looked good; but the taste and consistency was not so great: The filling was not much, was extremely soft and tasted like cabbage only. One of the worst dishes was the Salmon Sashimi: Already the meat didnât look like fresh salmon; it had the appearance of some smoked salmon. The pieces were also not cut into nice pieces. The taste was also not good â and the meat was partially still frozen!!! We were also not impressed by the Takoyaki; the taste was not great. The Combo was kind of ok; just the Teriyaki was cold when served and the meat was pretty firm. And for that price of the combo one would get larger serving with more pieces somewhere else. The Philadelphia Roll didnât taste special; also here appeared the salmon meat to be not fresh. And the Tokyo House Roll was disappointing too: The prawn tempura was cold which indicated that it wasnât prepared fresh. And also the salmon meat on top of it was visibly not fresh. As a conclusion I cannot recommend that restaurant.
